Dress is beautiful and as exactly shown. The back part is zip-up and if you're not the exact chart measurement, then it will need to be altered. A shawl is included. It was shipped immediately after purchase, however, I did not understand why the cost of the dress was written higher than sold. Reason why I mention this is because I am a buyer from Canada, and so the price of the dress affects the custom fee amount. I paid an extra $50.13 CAD for custom fee. Shipping price for the dress was $73 USD and so the price of shipping was costly.

This beautiful dress arrived on time, the only thing I wished I would have paid more attention to was the fact they mentioned dresses are smaller than regular department store dresses and my daughter bought a 4 instead of a 6 so we had to make a mad dash to the tailors and she was on a wrestler's diet for a week. It was absolutely stunning though! Thank you so much!

I love this dress and it looks fantabulous! haha i ordered it for my Senior Prom this year and it came in abour 5 days after confirming my order. All that has to be done to it is a little alteration to the "bust" area,which has to be done in most dresses for me anyway! :P I just love how the burgundy look and the beadwork is whimsical! I feel like i'm wearing something scarlett o'harah would wear in "Gone with the Wind"! Its so elegant and very lady-like!Its very its a beautiful,and so affordable!Compared to most dresses of this quality,its pretty cheap! I totally reccomend this dress to anyone else out there!

Love the gown, and the fast shipping !.I recieved this gown within a week after ordering. gown came and was exactly as pictured. I had ordered the size I would normally wear in designer gowns , and it was about 4 inches too big but it was easily taken in. and now looks very beautiful on my full figure. I dont know why it says on here that these gowns run small. when actually they are bigger then normal size clothes unless if I lost 4 inches and dident notice.
be careful not to try and iron this gown it needs to be gently steamed not ironed. I learned the hard way this gown will melt under a hot iron. luckily it was only a small bit which was easy to fix. overall though it is a great gown for the price.

I wore this dress to a grand winter ball last week and I had never felt more beautiful. The scarlet picks up the lighting so beautifully in dozens of rich folds and in photographs it looks absolutely marvelous. It also stays tight and fitted which is very good if it is worn for a long while or danced in. This dress looks stunning as you dance also. The bodice is gorgeous and looks so beautiful with a little accentuating jewelry. I have seen prom dresses costing twice as much which paled hideously in comparison to this dress. Depending on height, if you wear flats the dress hem elegantly brushes the floor. I could not imagine a lovelier dress to wear and would highly recommend it. However, I would not recommend the expedited shipping, I was killed on the cost of shipping.

The one and only problem with this dress is one that I notice other reviewers had, and that is the dress chart from the company that makes the gown is different than the one Amazon provides. It was a little tight for me, but not uncomfortable.

I bought this dress for a masquarade ball, and was so glad that I did. I absolutely loved it, and so did my friends. I had complete strangers coming up to compliment me. I'd definitely buy a dress from this company again!

My Dad ordered this dress for my Graduation Ball online. It was last miniute decision to go to the Ball. However, we search online and decided on this dress. We were not sure if the dress would fit or if any adjustments would have to be made. To our surprise, the dress came in seven days and I must say. It fitted perfectly. I love this dress and so as everyone at my Graduation Ball.

My daughters boyfriend asked her to the Prom with less than a Month to go. I had been hinting for several weeks that if he thought he wanted to go to the Prom to let her know now, but he waited so we were pressed for time to get a dress. And, all the local seamstresses are booked, so alterations are out of the question unless I do them myself.

My daughter wanted a Maggie Sottero dress... and I did order it and bought this dress as a back up just in case. Now, this may be the actual dress she will wear. She loves it that much!! Maggie Sottero may have to wait until the next Prom!

First, my daughter is a size 0 in Maggie Sottero world. (A 1-3 in Junior sizes). She is not even 100 pounds and is about 5'3". I thought the 4 in this dress may be too much, but it is actually perfect. We added a second crinoline under it (it comes with a built in petticoat), and there is no need to hem either!!

I can't say enough about this dress! It is that beautiful and that perfect, right out of the box! I am so glad it runs small, that made all the difference! Great seller too! Very fast shipping! A 100% happy experience! The price was phenomenal too!

It is the size as what the measurement says. It fits me perfectly. The length is perfect as well, and I am not that tall. It just reaches the floor right. If you're taller, you may wear the dress lower and have your shoes shown, and it still would be perfect!

I am actually very surprised as this exceeded my expectations, of something I get online. I thought I need to bring it to alterations and have it cost another 50 bucks or so. But no. It's perfect perfect perfect!

I ordered this dress for a Mardi gras ball. It was fabulous and for the price awesome. You truly feel like the bell of the ball in it. Well made and fits well. I recieved many compliments on this dress. I am fifty years old and it was very flattering. Very happy with my purchase, and the merchant who handled it.
