5.0 out of 5 stars 4 Great Songs, October 31, 1999
By A Customer
This LP includes 4 songs by Elliott Smith, two of them from his "Either/Or" album.. it's a great little CD, but I'd recommend buying his other four albums first of course.. The two songs you can't find in any other major release (besides some indie compilations) are "Some Song" and "Division Day", both of which are good songs and a little different than what's on "Either/Or", but not quite like his previous albums.. it's a good little single but only for hardcore Elliott Smith fans

4.0 out of 5 stars Short, but sweet, January 31, 2000
This 4 song EP is great for anyone wanting to expand their collection of Elliott Smith. Two of the best songs featured on "Either/Or" and the soundtrack to "Good Will Hunting" plus two others. "Some Song" is featured on a few compilations as well as a 7" single, but this is the cheapest way to get it on CD. "Division Day" is absolutely the highlight of this album, which was originally released as a 7" single with a song called "No Name #6" which will be released as a CD February 2000. Division day definately gives hints at what Smith was preparing to do for XO, but in my opinion is far superior to anything on XO.

5.0 out of 5 stars A mellow introspective masterpiece, May 14, 1999
By A Customer
An excellent import. Strangely quixotic...delicate acoustics....beautiful melody. Both "Ballad of Big Nothing" and "Angeles" are off Either/Or (Kill Rock Stars)..."Division Day" and "Same Song" are previously unreleased. Your Smith collection is incomplete w/o this single.
