Any "true" Cameo fan will look at the song list and know this is a "must buy". It is hard to gather a complete "best of" collection of this group, therefore, it is great that this collection of ballads was compiled for Cameo faithful. I anticipated such a compilation years ago by compiling my own Cameo ballads cassette tape. It is well worn and I am glad that the producers finally prepared this worthy CD. This will provide nonstop listening pleasure.

AFTER HEARING "WHY HAVE I LOST YOU" FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 15 YEARS, I CAN NOT HELP BUT GIVE THIS COLLECTION THE HIGHEST PROPS!!!

this Cd reflects another side to Cameo that folks that only think of Cameo as only a Funk Band are in for a real surprise.Hangin'Downtown,Why Have I Lost You,Sparkle are great slow jams.classic slow-jams.

Some of the best 80's ballads ever produce were made by a band mainstreamed by "Word Up" and "Strange". Most people never knew Cameo was responsible for these love ballads. This is for the TRUE R&B fans-only they can appreciate it. I love this CD: the passion alone from "Hanging Downtown" and "Feel Me" is enough to purchase this wonderful CD.

Personally, I am a bigger fan of their Dance Music and am not so much into ballads. But, let me give credit where credit is due. This is a good collection from the band. Get it at a good price and listen for yourself! Four stars

'Why have I lost you', what can I say? This is definitely a classic to have. 'Sparkle' is that feeling you get lying in the arms of a loved one, dreaming the time away. This is a great album. Cameo is SO not just about 'Word Up' and 'Candy'. You MUST check out these slow ballads, you'll be just as pleased, perhaps even more so...

These guys can do it all, they can move you, groove you and funkatize you on one side, then flip you over and rub you down with some mellow smoothness. I bought this cd for one song, track 8 "Don't Be Lonely". I love this song b'cuz it speaks to those who feel left out after a relationship has ended and to say it's not the end of your world and your not alone... The other tracks are smooth too not as much, well those are feelngs...Also add ths to your Cameo funk!!!

Cameo, the band with two faces, that's what I call them..because they could funk it up with the best of them and then slow it down enough to try the sweat running down your back! Classic Mellow Cuts from them..a treasure! Hanging Downtown is one of my all time favorite jams! The harmonies in that song are so tight! Glad they finally separated the funk from the love...for non-stop play!
