A Kid's Review

So, I had to do a report on Civil War music for my school, as I followed music through U.S history. I had my mother buy this book thinking it would have sheet music or at least some cool songs. I found that when , online, one of the most famous songs from this war (Civil War) wasn't in here! I could not find 'The Battle Cry of Freedom', the Northern or Southern versions, 'The Bonnie Blue Flag' or 'Lorena'. How can a retired Colonel who makes a living writing books about the Civil War not have these songs? So in my review I give him a 3 for finding some of the most obscure songs in the nation. I couldn't even find mention of these on many different sites. So if you enjoy reading civil war songs, and want some new ones to add to your collection, this is the book for you.But if you're looking for something a little less obscure this probably isn't worth wasting your money on.
