4.0 out of 5 stars Quality Old School recordings
Good Riddance, the quintessential hardcore punk band, produces a masterpiece in "Ballads" If you like "Operation Phoenix", this album may be not hardcore enough for you, but for all the punk purists, if they really exist, this album is it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top Notch Punk, October 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Ballads From The Revolution (Audio CD)
This record is incredible. Anyone into punk should have this cd. Russ's lyrics are deep and powerful, Luke and Chuck play their guitars for all they are worth, and Sean beats the drums like a machine gun. Check out tracks 1,5,6,8,9,11,12,14(KISS song), and 15. These are the best and all of the songs are great.

5.0 out of 5 stars dope CD, February 19, 2000
This review is from: Ballads From The Revolution (Audio CD)
This cd is great. the first time that I listened to it I picked out some cool songs but the more I listened to this CD the better it got. Fertile Feilds and state control are fast and amping. Jeannie is one of my favorite songs even though it isnt one of the fast puck songs it still rocks. GET THIS CD YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED IT ROCKS

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than my band, September 19, 1999

Great CD, Good Riddance creates one of the most original punk sounds I have ever heard. They have a heavy sound, without sounding too much like hardcore.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Good Riddance release to date!!!, November 9, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Ballads From The Revolution (Audio CD)
This Cd is absolutely amazing! If you are looking for fast punk with excellent lyrics then this is the Cd for you. Four guys from Santa Cruz putting forth all energy possible to make this Cd the best fat wreck cd ever. Can be super fast and also slow it down at times as well. Singer Russ has a great voice and the guitarists have the best lead riffs on any punk Cd out there. Also recommended if you like Good Riddance, Lagwagon, Strung Out, and Bigwig. Good Riddance' live show is even better than any release. Go seem em if you can!
