There are 3 different size ballcock valves made by this manufacturer for this application - a 4.5 inch. a 6.5 inch and and 8 inch model. The seller of this - Ace Hardware - does not offer any sizing when purchasing this as a replacement. You may find that this model does not fit even though they advertise that it will work as the replacement. You will end up paying shipping both ways and they will take no responsibility, even as they freely admit that there are three different size models made. Shipping both ways costs more than the unit. Go to Lowes hardware instead and buy it over the counter. This is a rip-off.

I think I am echoing someone else's comments that the product itself is fine, however the description does not specify exactly what size of toilet this works for. I am partially to blame for not looking into which size of toilet, but their description could be updated.
