A Great Book !,
By alissa (New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ballet Surprise (Full House Michelle) (Paperback)
This was one of the first chapter books I ever read. When I saw no pictures and lots of writing I didnt think I would love it so much. After reading Ballet surprise I went on to many other michelle full house books and started mary kate and ashley. I learned to love chapter books All because of Ballet Surprise !

Dumb,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Ballet Surprise (Full House Michelle) (Paperback)
This book is NOT very good. In fact, these books are SO immature and stupid that this will probably be the last one I read.
Anyway, Michelle tries out for the school ballet. She isn't very good, so her teacher doesn't give her a good part. So she tries to change it (by hitting other dancers on the head and doing a completely different dance routine than she's supposed to), and her teacher gets mad. And to make things worse, Michelle also has boring costumes! So she lies, saying that she wants to take them home and have her dad iron them. And instead of that she completely redesigns them! Michelle glues paper leaves and cotton balls and other junk all over the costumes. And the costumes turn out really beautiful. If you stuck glitter and cotton balls and foil all over a leotard and put a bird's nest on your head, will that look beautiful? No. It would look pathetic. And in the end Michelle's dance teacher loves the costumes, and so does the audience. I think that this book (and all of the other books in the Full House series) are stupid. I would NOT recommend reading them. |
