Best game I own,
By
This review is from: Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever (Video Game)
First, before I start this review, let me explain a little about myself. My parents strictly followed the ratings, so I was stuck with "E" rated games while my freinds were playing "M". When I finally hit 13, I had some money, and wanted to get a completely new type of game to try out. I was obviously drawn to FPS's as they are hard to find, nay, nonexistent in the E for Everyone vareity. I don't have much money at anytime, so I decided to do some research. One title caught my eye underneath the heavily advertised doom and wolfenstein 3D. That was Ecks Vs. Sever. I heard a lot of good and I lot of bad, and I saw some screenshots, and what the hell, it looked cool, so I bought. I was very pleasantly surprised. I loved it. Only one week ago, while web surfing, I found another title called Ecks vs. Sever. I knew right away I had to have it. I read reviews and saw screenshots only as a precaution. Then I bought. This game is wonderful. It is not Ecks vs. Sever, but in some ways it is better. This game is very cool. The backgrounds and bright, enjoyable and interactive. I miss playing the same levels as Ecks or Sever, but I enjoy the diversity. One thing that annoys me is the shortness of some levels. While the areas are very large for example, Eck's first four missions are spent running around the same mansion. Players of the first may notice similarities in ammo, such as ammo from the Pancor, the HK-G11, the Sniper rifle and the Ingram. One of the main annoyances is the sniper rifle. It is hard to describe, so I will just say it does not work right. The swimming is a cool addition(I like knifing the fishies). In conclusion, this game improves Ecks Vs. Sever 1, but also in some ways lacks things that made the first one so good. I still will give it five stars. I would like to reccomend both of these two as the best games on the gba, and quite worth the money.

A Pretty Good Game...,

This review is from: Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever (Video Game)
I have to admit, this is a pretty good game. There are many weapons to choose from, including sniper rifles, grenades, machine guns, etc. Some of the good features of this game include the multiplayer mode and the option to put in cheat codes. 'deathwish' for example makes you invinsible, 'cold feet' paralizes all opponents, and so on. You can find many other cheats on certain sites. After passing each level you receive a cheat. Put it in and automatically you get to play that level. So, there are no save files. If there is one bad thing about this game, it's probably the graphics. Yes, I know this is a handheld, but the grass looks like water! Still, I give this game a four-star rating. It is very challenging and I recommend it to anyone who likes difficult games.

sure this game looks pretty and the audio is great, it does get repetetive and sometimes its boring and confusing. but if you liked the original ecks vs sever game you'll want to add this to your collection, if you like shooters, find the original.
