If you like to read a suspense, who-done-it, thriller, you'll love Ballpark Mysteries #7:The San Francisco Splash. Here, author, David A. Kelly, using a baseball platform to tell his story, draws the attention of all young readers.
When an old timer falls overboard into the Bay, following a home run ball that also lands in that same water, he discovers that his World Series ring, the pride and joy of his life, is missing. But where could it be? is it at the bottom of the Bay? Or was it stolen by some long time rival? Read on...
Stories like this always arouse my curiosity. As I read I start to conjure up lots of guesses as to where it might be. I can't put this book down until I read the last page. I strongly recommend that everybody, young and old alike, read it, I give it five stars, and I'm Marvin P. Ferguson, author of Boys On The Gold Coast.

I am a ten year old boy who has all The Ballpark Mystery Books. The San Francisco Splash was very interesting because it keeps you guessing until the end. I learned that there were water dogs in the bay that receive baseballs for the sailors. If you like baseball, you are going to love the book.

My seven year old grandson is a baseball fanatic. He plays Little League, travel ball, and is a San Francisco Giants FAN+++. He was thrilled to get three of the baseball park mysteries for Christmas. He "ordered" grandma to buy more for his birthday.

Part of a nice series for the kids. The story-lines are unique and offer a bit of information about the different ballparks involved.

This was purchased for a 9 year old who does not like to read. The story had a good pace with just enough intrigue to keep a 9 years old's attention. We've read all the other Ballpark Mysteries and would recommend those, as well.
