I really like these pens but am appalled that the refills cost just about as much or the same!! Seems like they really want to just sell more of the complete product rather than decrease waste. The refills must cost much less to make than the pen altogether so why 2+ dollars for the refill themselves??! I think these should sell say 5 refills for a couple of bucks. Then it would be worth the effort for people to actually save the pen and put in a new ink cartridge. I see these pens (which despite being great to write with do drain quickly) being thrown away all the time 'cause there's another in the box! :( IMHO because of this companies pricing structure nobody realistically has the incentive to recycle the pen.

I love these refills and the pens that they go in (Pilot Dr. Grip Gel Ink Roller Ball Pen, Fine Point, Ultra-Violet Purple, Black Ink 36261 / PIL36261). This ink flows smoothly as I write, with no skipping. It gives all the smoothness of a gel pen, but with the advantage of being a ballpoint, so that I can write on anything, including multiple carbon-copy documents, on which much pressure is necessary.

I love the Pilot Dr. Grip Gel Pen. I like it because it's comfortable to write with plus it's refillable. I find the refills to be reasonably priced. This gives you the chance when you find that great pen you like to write with to keep it!

I use the Pilot G2 for everyday writing, and, occasionally, pen and ink drawings. It offers a thick, steady stream of quality ink, but in both applications, smearing can occur. Again, the refills empty in an eyeblink, but these seem inescabable compromises with gel.

These pilot G2 gel inks are great. It goes on paper very smoothly so it looks like a professional pen. Bad thing is that it runs out fairly quickly. Anywho, I recommend everyone to go get it!

I love my Dr. Grip gel pens and I use the freqently. It was alittle expensive for the actual pen, but the refills make up for it. They are cheap and easy to replace.

These are great refills for the inexpensive pens that are refillable. Saves money and is a greener solution than tossing these pens in the trash when the refill is used up. They are almost as good as the ultimate refill-Parker's gel refill for ballpoint pens which requires another type of pen.

I used to buy these refills at Office Depot and whatnot, but they're really hard to find.
This is definitely less costly [especially with prime] and I think I'll buy them in bulks even after this.
I'm addicted to the pen, and I hate buying new plastic pens, so this is perfect.

People who purchase pen cartridges probably already love the pen. The ink in these cartridges writes just as smoothly as ever.

Had a few empty plastic gel pens on hand and got these to bring 'em back to useful life, cheap. The 7mm point is the one to get if you want the pen to flow like a fountain pen (with ink usage to match). They work well and go fast but at these prices and available to fill out an order for free shipping, they're a good bet. (The 5mm points are more like a smooth ballpoint.)
