Series Summary
Ballykissangel is a BBC drama set in a rural community in Ireland. The story centers around Peter Clifford, a young priest who at first struggles to be accepted by the small town, but eventually becomes a vital member of the community. The show focuses upon the mysteries, romances, and mishaps of the local people while avoiding the usual Irish stereotypes in favor of more realistic, compelling drama. Fans affectionately refer to the series as BallyK.
