Let's Go Richie,

This review is from: La Bamba & Other Hits (Audio CD)
Excellent album and gave it 4 stars due to the fact the CD is far too short. This one HAS the complete version of "La Bamba" which is faded out on most releases. I have read up on Richies life and it is really too bad his life was cut real short. Just reading his autopsy report is unbelievable as the other crash victims. Anyway, ad least we got to hear him sing and wonder how far he might have gone in the music business. This one has most of his well known songs but misses a few other key tracks. I got this one at a K Mart for 5 USD. It is worth it just for the track "La Bamba" with the whole ending. So if you have a half hour to spare. get this one.Visit my website sometime and say "Hi" at "Judemac Forever" google it!

The Music Isn't Bad,

This is a sad story of the career of Ritchie Valens who died in a plane crash along with Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper. The music is good, with hit singles like La Bamba and Donna being blue chippers, although given a bad production here on this CD I got at Wal Mart for 5 bucks. Worth the 5 bucks.

Eventhough this album has only 10 songs its still good.Ritchie was a true singer.People from the 50's and 60's would love this album.La Bamba,Oh Donna, and more are still the same with no high tech change. That's good since most songs are better left unchanged.
