I was very pleased with this product. I read the reviews carefully, and eyed the dimensions.

Personally I sometimes feel a limited connection with some moms, because most have their own home and more space for things. I live in a small apartment, where space is precious. It's what I would call cozy, but potentially messy if not kept organized. So you can imagine my anxiety about going the cloth diaper route!

This pail helped alleviate a lot of that anxiety. I love the handle so I can easily carry it from spot to spot, even out to the coin operated laundry and not feel awkward. It IS in the smaller range of things, so be sure you pull out a ruler and understand the dimensions.. however, I never understood the big, bulky trash cans passed off as diaper cans anyway, and my logic was, the bigger the can, the more likely I would be to allow cloth diapers to pile up for an unecessary amount of time and then have to fish them out. This perfect little pail doesn't draw unecessary attention to itself either, and I don't feel like I have to devote a large amount of space to it. It can fit right in my bathroom, next to the toilet if I chose.

Would most definitely recommed to a cloth diapering mom who intends to do her loads fairly regularly (probably not as accomodating for moms who are going to wait every few days though or may not have a lot of time). As I said, read the dimensions and decide how often you intend to use cloth diapers and how many. I myself will be using the starting recommended of 24, and will be using disposables occasionally when out, plus since I am a stay at home mother, I will have a little more leeway with getting laundry done than some.

I bought this for my dirty cloth diapers and had to return it. I wash every other day and this was much too small. I use the Flip cotton inserts and I'd say it held only 12. I also had to return the pail liner that is made to attach inside because it is just mesh. It wouldn't contain moisture. Instead, I got the Mother Ease diaper pail with Planet Wise liner. Those are fantastic!

My fault for not really looking at size. Works well and can easily carry down stairs to laundry and just toss into washer (front loader even). It seemed a bit expensive for what it is, but I do like it, especially the handle. The "lock" feature is not really useful to prevent any crawling baby with a clue from getting into it!

This is a really convenient, easy to use diaper pail for cloth diapers, as well as training pants, etc. (We have 1 child in cloth diapers, and our other child is in the midst of potty training).

The handle of the pail is great, in that it "locks" the lid.

However, I wouldn't say that just because it does have the "locking lid", that it contains all smell. We usually keep the pail in our children's bathroom, and there have been times, that it has been smelly.

I also, did not find the need to buy the liners that go along with the bucket, as we use it (primarily) as a dry bucket.

I just rinse it out very well, with a little Borax added in when I wash the diapers.

I think the liners may be convenient, but really aren't needed.

Overall, a great cloth diaper pail... and although, a bit spendy... I believe it is completely worth it to be able to carry it into the laundry room. It is the perfect size... allowing for more than enough dirty cloth dipes that one would put in there before needing to wash.

I would have given it 4 stars, besides the fact, that we have had some minor smell issues, as well as the fact that you are "supposed" to use the liners with it, and in my opinion, this is not necessary, and lastly, it is a bit pricey... as I'm sure you could find a similar bucket that wasn't necessarily for cloth diapers at a much cheaper price.

The buckets is a bit on the small side, but really there shouldn't be more than 2 days worth of diapers in there, and so I have foudn it is the perfect size! The handle locks to keep the lid on tight and odors out! Fits perfectly on top of my washer....love it!

I love this product. We put cloth diapers in here and the bin keeps the smell down big time -- even though we rinse diapers out before putting in pail. This was a good buy and I would recommend it to other parents who use cloth diapers.

I was skeptical about purchasing this diaper pail. I thought, surely just any diaper pail will do. WRONG! This diaper pail does a fantastic job of holding odor out. I also bought the laundry bag liner. Doing the wash is super easy. I just throw the whole bag in the washer. Then I thought it would really suck to clean it. WRONG! I set it outside for a few hours after washing it out in the sink with water and it is good as new. Great buy. Using cloth diapers creates more work. Using the right tools this one make it easier.

I haven't actually had to put dirty diapers in the pail yet, but I can tell it is going to do the job just fine. I like that the bucket is wide and not too deep, this will make it easy to clean. It appears that it will hold about 10 dirty diapers, and I bought the liners for it so that I could just pull them out and use them to transfer all the diapers easily to the wash.

I'll post an update for the item after it is in use for a while, but I would be willing to recommend it even before using it. Another bonus: it is made of thick sturdy plastic and the handle is super high quality, it should last forever.

I registered for this because I was living in Europe when pregnant with our son and though that (with the size of our TINY European washers) this would be perfect. It is SMALL - even by European washer standards. I use bumGenius diapers and I could only fit a few in here. I did wash every day, but it still filled up fast. Also, the handle lock was awkward (or maybe it was me?). I would recommend a pail that has a step-open feature for those moments when you can't bend over and use two hands to open the bucket (where are your hands for holding down the baby on the changing table?).
