I was really surprised how sturdy this bench was when it arrived. I have it outside our front door and people love it! 2 people can sit on it comfortably. It was really easy to set up and the price is a steal.

I received this bamboo bench as a birthday gift from a dear friend. I had originally added it to my wish list because I had been looking for something to use as a frugal version of a chabudai table, one of the low traditional Japanese dining tables. Most of the chabudai tables that I could find ran well over $100-$200, and this looked like it might fit the bill but for a much lower cost.

The good news is that it pretty much works as a chabudai, although it's not as big as I had envisioned it in my mind. You can't seat 4 people for dining at this table, but 2 or 3 work just fine. As such, it works great for when a few of us want to dine in the living room while watching tv or just conversing. It's much more intimate than separate TV tables, and it's a perfect height for eating while seated on the floor.

It comes fully assembled right out of the box. The legs fold easily and the bamboo construction is ultra-sturdy. I can think of numerous uses for this table other than as a chabudai. It makes a great coffee table, or you could use it as a garden bench or even put some craft paper on it and use it as a portable art table for yourself or the kiddos. I'm sure the list could go on, especially if you're creative.

This table is a big WIN all the way around. It's a great table for the price. Highly recommended.

I purchased this as a table for my annual luau I was very suprised at the sturdiness and will probable use for seating now. Great product.

i like this coffee table, it's bamboo and light weight, collapsible, and i hear 2 or more adults can sit on it at once.

The bench is nice and neatly made, but broke probably during shipping. It came in a box about 50"X12"X12" without any packing or wrapping inside at all! I think this allowed it to be damaged. One of the big side bamboo pieces on the seat cracked in three evenly spaced places 6 inches deep on one of the ends.
I will probably attempt to glue it since it does not affect the structure. Disappointing since I spent $18.00 for shipping.
Otherwise this one is a light yellow varnished finish throughout with thin brown cord to weave the bamboo together. Authentic and natural looking. I will put it under an eave outside. Measurements are true to size and only two screws need un and re-screwing to assemble the legs upright for use. Legs are 8-1/2" and 38-1/2" on center, in case one needs to place stones to set it on.
Glad I got it, but didn't plan on paying for a broken item.

Bought this not expecting much, decided to trust the reviews, and hoped for the best. Well, the reviews were right and I LOVE this bench ! It's very sturdy, and very good looking. All I had to do was pull it out of the box and lock the legs in place. It has been outside on my front porch all summer long and it's held up just beautifully. On many summer evenings my husband & I have sat on it both comfortably and I never doubted its strength with both of us on it.

Now, a word about the shipper. I was so excited waiting for this to come and the day the FedEx man arrived I was SO ready to open the box and get a look at this bench. Well, when I opened the box there was no bench instead I received a bicycle rack ! I don't even own a bike :( I was so upset and thought for sure I'd been ripped-off so I sent an email off to the seller and was so not looking forward to having to ship a bike rack back to them. Well, below is their response. Not only did I receive my bamboo bench within a few days of contacting the seller they told me I could keep the bike rake too ! Might just have to buy a bike one of these days. Wonderful customer service and I'd order from them again in a heartbeat.

I keep thinking this bench is just too good to be true; that it will rot and fall apart any day. I mean, for $24.95 how good can it be. Well, let me tell you. It has been sitting on our patio, unprotected, in the hot and humid weather of South Florida for nearly a year and it looks as good as it did the day we unpacked it. I am a very large man, weighing almost 360lbs and this bench does not seem to notice. It has not sagged or gotten wobbly but is as rock solid as the day it arrived. I know of no way to tell you how wonderful this bench is other than to tell you that it looks more like it cost $150.00 than $24.95. This may be the biggest bargain on the Internet. I am buying another to use as a coffee table and two more for Christmas presents. This price can't last.

And as always with anything ordered from Amazon, it came on the day promised, and packaged securely and professionally. Kudos to Amazon as always!

I can't say enough about this bench! Super easy to set up, it fits perfect on my patio and sturdy enough to sit 2-3 people. Its cute, compact and unique looking - perfect complement to potted plants and trees on my deck. The price for this gem is unbelievable.

I ordered this based on the pictures thinking that if it was even remotely close i'd be getting a bargain. Well it's all that. Sure, it's simple, just bamboo and wire, with a couple of bolts under the supports. But that is also what makes it so badass. I can't tell you how many people want one of these after seeing it. It would go great either in a modern setting or especially in an asian themed decor. Folds away for storage, but you wont want to. I'm only concerned about how it would last in the weather as one side of the bamboo is open and pests could potentially get in there. I'll probably leave it inside anyway. It plenty sturdy as a changing bench at the end of my bed. Did I mention these things are badass. For the price, you cant go wrong. Highly recommend.

We have it behind the couch on the patio, and it looks great. We always get compliments. For the money, you can't beat it.
