I looked at every possible case for my iPad, but really wanted something durable yet very good looking. I seen wood cases and just loved the look. Some are very expensive and other not so much but having some limitations. This case is a great value compared to others. What I really like was that the top is opened up to get a better signal. I read other comments left from people who bought other cases that were fully covered on all sides and they complaining that they couldn't get any signal at all. I was scared of that and why I chose this one along with the nice price. I get great signal strength and your iPad will not fall out from the opening slot. It is VERY tight inside and is ever hard to get out once it is in so don't worry about that at all. The inside has protected fabric so it won't scratch your iPad. The only thing I had trouble with is that the bottom opening where you plug in your charging unit. I use my iPad a lot to watch videos from the net, and I plug it into my big screen tv to watch. The VGA cord that is need to plug into it is way to big to fit, so I had to take it out of the case all the time which is VERY hard to do. I finally made the hole bigger with a small sanding tool I had and now it all works perfect. So remember your VGA adapter will not fit unless you make the bottom slot bigger yourself.

I just wanted to add that this case broke on me, finally cracked on one side when I tried taking out my iPad to watch movies on my tv and use VGA cord. It also cracked on the bottom too so I just bought a totally different case and made sure I could use all my adapters and so on. This unit looked very nice, but just ended up to be a very expensive wast of money as I only used it for such a short time. Thought I let someone know about what could happen to them and how fragile this unit can be if you every try to remove iPad from case. Changed from 4 stars to only 2 for looks and how it kept iPad in case nice and tight but then good luck getting it back out!

I have researched many other cases and this idragonmoss case s the best among the bunch for several reasons.
1 Its a unibody which means that its just 1 solid piece of bamboo and not two thin pieces like the more cheaper bamboo caes.
2. It has an open top design which means it can receive and send signal from wifi and 3G without being blocked
3. it feels great and doesnt try to hide its bamboo past
4.Although i prefer the plain case, it can be laser etched for an extra fee
5. Its the cheapest bamboo case for this type of design

After careful review of other bamboo iPad covers on the market, I decided upon the Dragon Moss version because the price was great, and I liked how it looked. When it arrived three days ago, I was so excited! It looked great, felt durable in my hands, the iPad wouldn't slip out if I turned it upside down, and I really liked the study stand that came with it (my only quibble about the stand is that you have to take it with you everywhere if you want to use it, and it can't just snap on to the case, it's a bit bulky--but the sturdiness of it really made up for it).
I noticed when I slipped the iPad in the case that the case had a small, jagged crack in it, but I thought that maybe that was part of the bamboo style, and ignored it. But after a day of carrying it around at work (I am in sales and I use the iPad for presentations) and the crack had deepened and I started to worry how long it would last me. So, I sent an email to Dragon Moss just asking if I could maybe glue it or what I should do, and they offered me a WHOLE NEW ONE, and SHIPPED IT OUT THE NEXT DAY. Free of charge. And, I don't have to ship the other one back because it can't be repaired. HOW AWESOME IS THAT? I was blown away to be honest, and now I am a customer for life.
