I have had this cutting board in my Amazon cart for a while and was pleasantly surprised to find it for $12.99 at my local T J M a x x. I love that it covers both burners on my stove and allows me to pick up the board w/ prepped food on it and set it on the burners while I cook on the burners on the other side. It makes it super easy to add ingredients and have everything ready to go. It also looks really nice on the stove top. It doesn't fit over my double bowl sink, which was disappointing. By the measurements given, it should have, but you actually lose about an inch from the sides of the board and for my sink, that inch made all the difference, because I have a cast iron sink with a big rolled edge and it doesn't quite make it... but I imagine it would probably fit over a standard or recessed kitchen sink with no problem. The bamboo is nice quality, and while and it's not butcher block thick, the entire thing is nice and even with no warping. I oiled it right away and am pleased with the way my knives cut on it, it's a nice work surface and looks good, too. I was actually ready to buy it for $24.99, but just happened upon a better deal...so if you can't find it for cheaper, I'd still say that it would be well worth the $25. I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5 because I think if they had made this just about an inch longer and another inch deeper it would fit the larger double bowl sinks as well as cover a bit more surface area on the stove top when you are using it for that purpose. But it comes very, very close to 5 stars for my money!

One caveat- I had this over my 2 burners and preheated my oven, and the board got VERY hot from the vent at the back of my rangetop as the oven was preheating.

We recently downsized, and counter space is premium at our new home. I love the size and versatility of this cutting board! I use it in conjunction with colored cutting mats that have similar measurements; and, I most often use it right on the stove top as I'm chopping and adding ingredients to the pot or skillet. Otherwise, I use it for cutting pizza or bread. Very convenient and just right for my needs.

Looks great and is so useful in the kitchen. I keep it out all the time, over two of my stove burners. It's exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this cutting boards to use over two burners of my electric stove to add some much needed counter space to my tiny kitchen. I works perfectly. I don't actually use it as a cutting board. It functions more as additional prep/storage space. The channels in the image border the two short sides and one long side. The bamboo is smooth and rich looking. I rub mine with mineral oil about once a month to keep it looking great. It wipes down easily with a damp rag. It also has little plastic protectors in the four corners to prevent it from scratching the surface it's on, but they fall out pretty easily. I move mine pretty infrequently and I've already lost one. It doesn't seem to effect it level wise. I did burn mine a little with a VERY hot pot (accidentally left it on the stove with the burner on high for like a half hour) put I routinely put pots and dishes used in both the oven and stove on the board without problems. The burn doesn't even look that bad with some mineral oil rubbed in. Just brings out the grain a bit more. Over all, it does exactly what I need it to, and looks pretty stylish doing it.

I purchased 2 of these for my stove top. They are great for making extra counter space for your kitchen! They are attractive and durable as well. A great purchase.

I bought this to add a touch of wood elegance in covering a drab white apartment stove with electric coils. It looks nice, sturdy, easily moved. The only thing that could be better is that my stove has slight curves in each corner, so the board (because of its length) has to sit in a little, but really not a problem.

I needed to cover a cook top on our boat so when I found this on Amazon. I measured carefully and figured if I used 2 of them I could just cover the entire cook top perfectly. My only caution would be if you want to do something using more than one of these, I glued mime together, plan on spending some time making them fit together because they are not identical one to the next. They are very close but bot quite exact. I ended up doing a fair amount of sanding on the finished product to smooth out the mismatched surfaces. If you only need one, go for it.

the board is flimsy and would not stand up to much use. The legs were not solidly attached to cutting surface. The board needs to be thicker as well.
