This review is from: Bamboo Palace: Discovering the Lost Dynasty of Laos (Paperback)
This is the true, tragic story of what actually happened to the last king of Laos, his family, and his associates, and those loyal to the crown, as the Communist Pathet Lao buried them in their jungle gulags. A must read for anyone interested in Southeast Asia, and especially for those who visit that beautiful country. A great piece of investigative journalism.

FaNgum is the royal lineage of a Lao prince by the name of Khun Lor that founded both Loungprabang Kingdom and Xiengkhouang Kingdom in the late 7th century. Lao Dynasty is over 1300 years old. I will take a look at the book, looks very interesting.
