This is a great idea, I wish I had known about Bamboo leashes long ago! I feel better knowing my dog can see out the windows, but is not in any danger of bad falls with possible short stops. I use it all the time. Sturdy and well made with convenient features like the key and waste bag holder. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this leash as a replacement for the one I lost. I use it mainly in the jeep to keep the dog from jumping out. It plugs right in to the seatbelt latch and clip the other end to her harness. It also has a nice little pocket I use to keep a spare poop bag and some quarters in.

These things are amazing! I bought one for my puppy because she has a habit of trying to get under the driver's feet whenever we go places and its perfect. I can buckle her into the backseat and she can't get up front and under my feet, but she can reach the windows just enough to stick her face out (before she'd actually try to crawl out the window...). Its really good quality and very sturdy, plus the handle's cushioning and zippered pouch are handy. I just ordered another one for my older dog =]

After adding two puppies to my now 3 dog home, I've had a terrible time teaching two spunky, bouncy pups to stay in the backseat rather than leap up to the front seat.

I've tried subtle methods -- adding a dog hammock to the backseat bench -- but that's not going to stop two hyperactive pups.

This belt buckle system is great for keeping the dogs in the back, where they won't get in the way of driving. However, you'll have to do some adjustment between walking-length and buckle-length if you don't want multiple dogs to start tangling the leads.

The buckle snuggles into a velcro padded strip during walking, but... being a normal metal seatbelt buckle... it is a bit heavy for normal walking. It's not exactly HEAVY, but if you're trying to reinforce loose-leash heeling, the dog will definitely know the leash is there.

I'm not a huge fan of padded leashes, but for those who are, there is quite a bit of padding in the hand loop.

Besides the belt buckle, my other favorite feature is a zipper pouch hidden in the padded velcro strip that is the perfect size for a couple doggie bags (in my case, compostable doggie bags -- keep in mind those plastic grocery baggies you may be "recycling" actually end up in the landfills!)

In any case, it's a great leash for its purpose -- I have three of them, one for each of my dogs. It's a heavy leash, but does the job it's intended to do well. Get one of these leashes for the backseat riders, and another lighter one for training.

This is a great car leash. Granted the buckled makes it a bit heavier when you walk the dog, but I did not find this to be a problem. I got it on sale at Amazon.com for like $8.00 a few months back. Now the price has more than doubled. Overall, it's still a great leash for the car.

This product works as advertised, and keeps your pet secure in the car.
The leash itself is of good quality and sturdy.

I love the product. Our dog loves to ride in the convertible and feel the wind. We know that she is safe.

I bought this leash after trying to figure out a solution to the issue of our 50 lb black lab mix puppy whining to be near our 2 year old in the car. Now she is able to be close to the family and see out the window as well as being secure. She can't dash off the minute the door is opened. I recomend using this leash with a HARNESS and not a collar. if there is an accident your dog will be much safer in a harness that has less of a chance of strangulation if the vehicle rolls. A collar can choke in this situation. Also, a dog can slip out of a collar with far more ease than a harness.

I use this exclusively as a seat belt latch for my puppy dog. Note that it's NOT a seat belt--it simply plugs into your seat belt connector and connects to the dog's collar, stopping your dog from moving around. It can be adjusted to different lengths cater for different sized dogs.

Frankly, on sale at $4.99, I half-expected to be disappointed by its quality or compatibility with my European car, but I am very happy with the results. Quality-wise, I had some trouble moving the latch at first, but a quick tap with a hammer loosened it up. It connects easily into U.S., Japanese and European cars I've tried. More importantly, instead of jumping around and climbing on top of me while I'm driving, my dog settles down quietly within 20 seconds and stays that way until the end of the trip. For that reason alone, I would highly recommend it.

This is the best dog travel item to have! We have 2 of them, one for each vehicle, easy and safe for keeping our dog secure in the back seat.
