Two thumbs up for this product! I purchased this robe as a gift for my wife; it was an instant hit. I was debating between this robe and its silk counterpart by the same company: Women's Luxury Bathrobe by TexereSilk, White 100% Silk Robe -- La Perla Naturale. The bamboo robe won: it is more economical, and will likely be used more often.

The robe is exceptionally soft and absorbent. The bamboo cotton mix (at 70% / 30%) is really ideal - bringing the silk-like feel of bamboo and still having the strength of cotton. Bamboo fiber is much more absorbent than cotton; thus the robe wicks away moisture instantaneously.

At around 3 pounds, its weight is very reasonable. My experience with 100% cotton terry robes has been that they are too weighty; not this robe. And my wife feels that this bamboo robe is even better than her old cotton terry robe in keeping you dry. So you win at both ends.

This company also has very swift service, and the product arrived well packaged. Excellent product and excellent experience.

My wonderful girlfriend had been complaining about her old robe for some time. It was really comfortable (but had seen it's day) and she could not find anything she was happy with. I wanted to buy her a new one for xmas but was in a bit of a quandary because she is so finicky and particular when it comes to certain items, one of which is her precious robe which she loves to lounge in after a hard day's work or in the morning after her shower. So I began what turned into a major research project. Let me tell you - I hit a major home run with this robe. I NEVER have written a review on anything but she is so happy with this robe that I thought I'd share with all of you guys who might find yourself in my position or any ladies who are looking for a great robe. What more can I say. This robe is the perfect weight, thickness, material, length and comfort. I tend to buy at the upper end of the quality range and was expecting to pay 3-4x more than this one costs. It's really great that one can still find a good quality product out there without having to spend a fortune. That said, I think I'll buy another one to have on deck over at my place. Maybe she'll come over more often!!

A Wonderful gift. I got this as a gift for my sister-in-law who has certain allergies and is also very much environmentally conscious. She was absolutely ecstatic about this bamboo cotton terry bathrobe.

There are many polyester or micro-fiber robes available that offer silk-like texture, but natural fiber is much better from the health and environmental viewpoint. The absorbency and luxurious texture of this robe is also remarkable. This company also offers elegant gift packaging and has good service standards.

Highly recommended as a gift.
