I'm a home-baker and this board catches the crumbs!

This board really helps keep the counter clean when cutting bread and making sandwiches.
I like that the crumb-catching slats go all the way to the edge.

14 inches is a good length. It takes up very little space on the counter top.

I do wish it were a little wider, maybe 10 inches instead of 8.5 inches.

I've had it for about 2 yrs. No warping, no problems with tray getting stuck in the base.

One of our daughters purchased this for my husband as a gift and to replace a similar, less nice one we had. My husband, who hobbys with woodworking, finds this one to be too beautiful to use. He doesn't want to scratch it, so we leave it on the counter as more of a piece of artwork for bread to sit on. It served its purpose well for me the two times I sliced bread on it before my husband told me he'd prefer that we not actually use it. Even though bamboo can be tough, this was lightly scratched by the knife.

This board is made well and looks good. The best part is - it collects all the crumbs and helps reduce the cleanning while the counter is looking great. I haven't had it long enough to give a true opininon on quality but it seems it will last a long time. The slats of previous bord I had were joined with nails and fell apart quickly - here there are no joints on the top part which is a big plus. The size is perfect and fits a loaf of bread perfectly.
