I love this toy a lot. The design is beautiful, the color is beautiful, and it really teahces you responsobilitity. I am a 6th grader and I had went to Target to buy one last week, and the whole row of them were wiped out! So I went this week, and there were three tamagotchis left! I HAD to have this design, so my mom said I could buy it. I'm having so much fun with it, and my friends are too! This is the BEST version ever so far! Bandai, I hope you're making a version 4!!

I have all the Tamagotchi versions. This one is the original and less complex than versions 2 and 3. You feed the pet, care for it, clean up after it, and teach it to behave. The second model has a sensor on top that lets your pet interact with other version 2 pets to play or even mate to make the next generation of Tamagotchis. The third model is able to use codes from [...] to give your pet gifts, special food treats, and toys. In order to use the codes you must log on to the website using the user name on your Tamagotchi toy. If you don't, the codes won't work. Go to the health meter and scroll down until you get to the user name (NOT THE PET'S NAME.)

I absolutely love these things! I'm getting the newest version, and I have all the other versions too. Owning a tamagotchi can be a hassle sometimes, but teaches you responsibility. Thank goodness there's a pause button! I hope they make a V4!

Tamagotchis are fun but every time I go on the website and it gives me passwords, I enter them on my tamagotchi and they don't work. It might be hard for younger kids to learn how to use them. Otherwise, I enjoy playing with them.

An awesome toy, I'm pretty sure you can buy these at walmart for $15. I have 3 of these, soon to be 4!

If you were to get this toy I would consiter that you do not give it to a 4 yr. old or under the age of 4. But otherwise it is very handy and it's a great toy to keep you busy! It's like a virtual baby!

NO fun. So it teaches responsobility. It's boring. There's only one game and it makes no sense whatsoever. It makes annoying beeping sounds. You get the same one over and over again. The character, I mean. Don't waste your money.

I LOVE MY TAMAGOTCHI IT IS SO FUN I'M 24 I PUT IT ON MY KEYCHAIN AROUND MY NECK AND I HAVE FUN WITH IT ALL DAY ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M BORED SO WHEN I GO SOMEWHERE AND I DON'T HAVE MUCH OF ANYTHING TO DO I JUST PLAY WITH IT I THINK ITS FUN. AND IT DOES HAVE SOME EDUCATIONAL VALUE. IF YOU REALLY LOOK AT IT IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR SCHOOLS TO USE THIS FOR CLASS LIKE WHEN YOU DO THE BABY THINK IT OVER I THINK IT WOULD BE A LOT BETTER TO DO THAT THAN TO TAKE A BABY HOME CAUSE YOU COULD MAKE THEM BUY THEIR OWN THING AND KEEP IT AND KEEP DIBS ON HOW THEY ARE DOING AND HOW OLD IT IS BY THE TIME IT LEAVES AND GOES BACK TO ITS HOME PLANET. I STILL HAVE MINE I GOT IT ON THE FIFTH OF AUGUST IN 2011 AND ITS 10 YEARS OLD SO I'M DOING PRETTY GOOD RIGHT NOW.

I love Tamagotchis. I currently have over 30 of them, but the original ones are my favorites. Very easy to take care of and fun to watch change into different creatures. Took me a long time to get bored with them. I wish I could still buy these things in stores (not the new ones, but the original). I miss my old black, white, and orange tamagotchi.
