though it looks like a, well, adult toy, it's a useful addition to the lunchbox. it definitely keeps bananas from bruising. my kids do have trouble opening it, but that's what classroom helpers are for.

The Banana Bunker does a decent job protecting my bananas and it also doubles as a fun toy for my wife and I; you know,......a snorkel. Eat an undamaged snack at the beach then hit the surf for an underwater adventure!

IF you find yourself purchasing this item, be carfeul.
Team-mates and fellow office members may tease and joke with you, at you or any combination of 'fun seeking' as soon as they see this item spring forth from your pant pocket or other safe place.. It's design is well...ummm, similar to another 'banana' item type.... For the love of Pete (dont ask who that is) dont send your kids to school with one of these. I'm sure the cost of years of counseling and therapy for you kids, is worth -NOT- useing it and the occasional 'bruised' banana...This is one laughable item. Gag-gift quality
