I had one of these 12 years ago and left it in the house that we were renting, sure that I could find another one. I have been searching for 12 years! I am so excited to be able to have one again. I love that it is there when you have bananas to keep them off the counter and keep them from getting bruised and when you don't have bananas you simply fold it out of the way!

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this gadget is! Everyone should have one!

My only complaint is that it doesn't use a modern, "3M Command Strip" sort of adhesive that is super-strong, but you can remove easily, replace, etc. Thus, you can't take this with you and reuse it if you move (explains some of my multiple purchases), and you can't re-stick it if it decides to let go and fall (explains the remainder). It's regular, old-fashioned peel-and-stick. Overall, it's fantastic. Flips down to hold the bunch without getting them all smushy and bruised, then flips out of sight when you're out. For the price, you can just buy new ones if you move or overload it.

I love the concept and was so excied to get it. However, when I put it up it lasted about an hour before it fell off. The adhesive didn't stick and when I tried to adhere it with other adhesives it didn't work. Had to toss it in the garbage. Would be great if it were metal or had screws to keep it attached. Big disappointment as I love the concept and love that it folds away when not in use.

The plastic hook is bright white and a bit wider than I would have liked. It really sticks out as a plastic gadget hanging under your counter. I would love a more sleek stainless steel or clear design. Thankfully it tucks away when we don't have bananas which I love (and is the reason I purchased this particular one!)

The double sided tape included to "install" this is a joke. My pack of bananas fell down within 5 minutes. However, the top includes two small holes for screws so it is very simple to screw it in more easily. The company should include two small screws with the kit because there is no way that that tape will hold a bunch of bananas.

This is my third banana hook. Every time I move houses, I order another one. It keeps the bananas off the counter and prevents soft, brown spots. It also folds up when not in use. The adhesive makes the hook easy to install, and I've never had any trouble with the hook coming down.

Love these hooks!! As others have noticed, the adhesive is not always the best. Very simple problem to solve. Just put a screw through each end and screw it to the underside of your cabinets. I've had 2 of these hooks for over a year. They are used frequently and have held together with no problem. I would highly recommend using the screws to attach.

It stayed adhered for a week or so, then never again. In that short time, I observed that the bananas did stay fresher longer. I like the idea of being able to attach it and fold it out of site when not in use. However, it's only an idea. There is no way to attach it with screws, so that was money down the drain. Don't waste your time or money on this product.

This thing is so neat. I have a relatively small kitchen with limited counter space, so this is a great space saver. It's easy to stick up, has held up well, and tucks completely out of sight. Awesome! The only thing I wish was different is the looks -- white plastic isn't the prettiest. Some sort of chrome or stainless steel would've been nice, but the convenience of it is enough so that the appearance isn't a big deal.
My mom really liked the idea of it too when she saw it, so I ordered one for her as well and she's happy with it too!

This works pretty well. I decided to use screws to attach it instead of the adhesive. No one should notice that under the cabinet. I like that it tucks away by flipping to either side when not in use. Pretty sturdy, I have no doubt it will hold bananas without breaking.

We're limited on counter space, and this little thing is perfect. Holds bananas when we got em, hides away out of sight when we don't. Now if only all my kitchen appliance did that too... I will definitely make sure I have one of these in every house I own. In fact, buying more now in case this is no longer available over the next 30 years..
