5.0 out of 5 stars Great for new shoes
I tried this with a pair of new shoes that were causing blisters on the backs of my heels, and sure enough it prevented more blisters! I even tried it once on the side of my foot where I'd been having pain and it helped there too. I will note that after reading another review of this product the shoes I'd been having issues with were flats and not heels. If you're having...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money
I was so hopeful this would solve the issues associated with wearing high heel sandals. It did not improve the situation whatsoever, my feet still rubbed up against the sandal and caused pain. This item is pointless! Wish I had not wasted my money. If you find that your sandals are too tight and rubbing your feet, try stuffing wet socks into the sandal for a few hours...

If you're having issues with a shoe rubbing against your heel, this stuff will probably help. But I guess the best advice is if a shoe doesn't fit, don't wear it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works really well!, July 16, 2010
This review is from: Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick .34 oz (9.6 g) (Health and Beauty)
I have suffered from childhood from severe blisters on my heels because of very narrow feet. So much so that I took to wearing only backless footwear to avoid the problem all together. When I found this product I rejoiced! Works great, no smell, staining or gloppy feeling - goes on like a teeny-tiny deodorant and keeps me from getting any blisters!

I use this whenever I even THINK my shoes might rub me the wrong way. The silicone makes the shoe glide over your skin - no blisters!

I was pretty skeptical when I bought this stuff but it really works! It prevents the shoe from rubbing on my foot and causing a blister. Pretty awesome.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money, June 3, 2007
I was so hopeful this would solve the issues associated with wearing high heel sandals. It did not improve the situation whatsoever, my feet still rubbed up against the sandal and caused pain. This item is pointless! Wish I had not wasted my money. If you find that your sandals are too tight and rubbing your feet, try stuffing wet socks into the sandal for a few hours. It will gently stretch the straps, just enough to give you a little more room. Be careful to not over do it and use old socks in case the sandal fabric stains your socks. I tried this overnight with a pair of flat sandals. Now my feet easily slip into the sandal and are actually comfortable!! And it is FREE!
