5.0 out of 5 stars Great Band-Aid!
I have used this type of band-aid for years! I haven't had too much trouble getting the band aid on. As long as you use the white "tape" on the back to help you put the band aid on, it goes on well. Once it's on, it stays on until I take it off. I haven't had one fall off when I got it wet...at least not yet. There is a first time for everything. Make sure you don't...

1.0 out of 5 stars Practically Useless BandAid

This band-aid is the worst band-aid I've ever tried. First of all, there is almost no way to cleanly take the backing off the individual band-aid. It is tough to do, and you have to touch the part that is supposed to go on your wound to do it. IF you can take it off and NOT have the whole band-aid wriggle up into a sticky mess, then you deserve a prize. It...

It's sticky and designed to stay stuck. If you touch it with your fingers, it WILL stick to your fingers.

As a marathon runner, I use these bandaids to cover my nipples to prevent chafing. After running 26 miles in the summer and being all sweaty, they are still glued to my body and don't show any sign of coming off. There have been times when after my run I jumped in the shower, and was in there for sometime while still wearing the bandaids. They still didn't show any sign of coming off and are just as tough getting off as if they hadn't been in water at all.

In comparrison, when the store I went to didn't have any of these bandaids I instead bought the Bandaid Waterproof Tough Strips. After I got back from a run they were pretty much falling off and for the future, are useless for me. It's surprising though because they're supposed to be waterproof and they're the same brand. Anyway, the water block ones are great.

The only thing I don't like about these bandaids is that when you peel the backing off, it sticks to the sterile pad, so you end up touching it with your hand to try and remove it. That's not important for my use, but certaily, most people will be using these for cuts and such so it will be a problem.

It scrunches up and sticks to itself like saran-wrap. I had to use about 5 each time to get one to even go on. Then it doesn't stick! It lasts only a few minutes before it loses its adhesion and opens up. The only thing it sticks to for sure is itself and that's before you get it on the wound. I'm not sure what the "water block" does, as the band-aid comes right off if it is exposed to water. The band-aids are very light and appear to be cheaply made.

The only reason I used them at all is that I needed them and there was a delay of a day or so before I could replace them. I went through almost the whole pack in that time. I only bought one pack, not the 6 sold here, and I'm grateful for that!

Not recommended at all, for any use that I can think of.

Hooooolllllyyyyy coooowwwwwwww, is this product adequate! I've never thought much about bandages before, and I still don't. When I get a cut, I stick one of these on and it works just like any other adhesive bandage. I'm so glad!
