5.0 out of 5 stars Band-Aid Blister Cushions for Fingers & Toes
These bandages are rather pricey but they're indispensable for me. I walk 20 miles/day and tend to get callouses/corns between my toes. No other types of bandaids fit between my toes and these have amazing staying power. They rarely come off on their own. I can take baths for several days and they stay on. 2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't stick.
I'm giving it two stars because I called Johnson's to complain about the product and they are sending me a coupon valued at the amount I paid for the band-aids.

I followed the directions
Cleaned the heals of my feet
Towel dried them.

DIDN'T APPLY ANY OILS or LOTIONS

Waited an extra 30 minutes to make sure they were dry...

No other types of bandaids fit between my toes and these have amazing staying power. They rarely come off on their own. I can take baths for several days and they stay on. I used them to hold on tiny callous cushions which tend to be knocked off by putting on and taking off shoes and socks or by the bedclothes when I sleep. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Protection -- R.N. Approved!, March 28, 2010

I'm an older person, and my skin is thin, predisposing me to scratches and abrasions. These bandages promote healing like no other I've used. Stay on for a long time through showers and hand washing. They don't just cover wounds; healing occurs with minimal or no scarring. In addition to blisters and fingers and toes, they're a perfect size for small cuts. I only wish Band-Aid would manufacture more different sizes of these hydrocolloid bandages. I'm an R.N., and I know that hydrocolloid bandages have been used for a long time by wound care professionals, so when I saw them on the shelf, I tried them right away. Funny thing--I don't remember seeing any newspaper, magazine, or other print ads for them.

I always have trouble with my shoes because they rub against my toes, especially the little ones. I tried these out and now I cannot live without them! They don't come off and after a few seconds I forget I am wearing them (they always feel funny in the very beginning to me). They have helped me stay out longer and walk around more. Highly recommended - although I do wish they were a bit cheaper.

5.0 out of 5 stars also good for fingers when you have to do a lot of writing, June 6, 2008
I'm practicing for a 3 day hand-written exam. I layer 3 over my middle finger to cushion against the pen when I write. The adhesive is great for this use - fingers don't sweat like runner's feet. The cushioning is just right. The local Safeway and drugstore.com stopped carrying this product, so I'm awfully glad I could order it on Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best bandage for quick and painless healing, October 14, 2009

I purchased a version of these bandages in Europe after walking more than I am used to and getting really bad blisters. They saved my trip!! I checked all over for the brand I bought in Europe - and finally decided to give these a go. They are fantastic. I recommend using them anywhere - not just fingers and toes. The trick is to leave them on for a week or so. They create a blister (so you will see a puffy white blister under the bandage) to help with healing. Left undisturbed the area will heal nicely. If you use this on your arm or leg, I recommend trimming or shaving the hair in that area as the bandage will cling to hair when you try to remove it later (ouch!)

5.0 out of 5 stars These are a godsend..., February 26, 2008

I broke my foot in a motorcycle accident a couple years ago, and when everything was finally healed, my bone structure was no longer the same. Which meant that many of my shoes no longer fit quite right, and I was getting unexpected blisters. Now I just stick one of these things over any spot that is rubbing, and my life is much, much better. (And I have not had to replace a whole bunch of shoes.)

They stay on for days and are relatively unobtrusive. I have worn them with sandals. Amazing product.

5.0 out of 5 stars i love these!, September 28, 2007

fre "fre" (Pacific Northwest, WA United States) - See all my reviews
i ran 18 miles and got a terrible blister on my toe. i didn't do much to try to heal it, i usually just let it heal on its own. but the next few days i worked and wore heels. it of course irritated it more (i did use a regular band-aid to protect it)and by evening, it was red, swollen, and was in pain through out the night. the next day, i went to look for bandages and found these. i put them on and INSTANTLY the pain went away! it stayed secure for a couple of days and when taken off, the blister was fully healed! i plan on using these when i go for long runs (15+miles), just as a "just in case" sorta thing. i have no fear of blisters anymore when i run!

Applied the band-aid

rubbed repeatedly to get it to stick because it wasn't staying put.

WAITED.....

removed my fingers and the band-aid fell OFF!

Tried another band-aid. That one stuck. Got up to walk to the bathroom the band-aide was hanging off.

I have 3 remaining. I guess I will use them for something.

2.0 out of 5 stars Excessive and poor adhesive at same time, July 1, 2007
These cushions might have been better under socks and sneakers (or some other full-coverage shoe). However, when worn with slides, where my feet were moving around a little with each step, the cushions' edges curled back, stuck annoyingly to said shoes, and were ringed in black (from the dust it collected) after a day's walk through some city streets. When I tried to remove and replace them, the waxy consistency of the cushions, combined with the strong adhesive in some parts, made the end of the cushion stretch while the rest of it refused to uncling itself from my blister-sensitive toe. As a result, I ended up tugging at the raw skin, which was not worth the hour or so of initial mild comfort. Once I finally got the grubby things off, there was waxy, sticky residue stuck to my toes. I don't recommend these cushions. They lasted less than a day and caused more discomfort than relief. I think even a regular bandage would have been a better alternative.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, January 23, 2012
I used these to heal a blood blister on the bottom of a toe right where the toe bends. Being an active person running around 11-12 miles a day it was hard to finding a bandage that would stay and so the blood blister would heal. This product stayed on for about four days and about two weeks later the blood blister was healed.
