I run about 25 miles per week and I ended up getting blisters on my toes for wearing the wrong socks. I tried these bandages and I have to say they do work. I tried other pads and cushions before and they don't work at all or the blisters get worse. With these bandages the pain goes right away and they stay on even after shower. Now, I have them in case I get more blisters. I need to try the ones specially designed for fingers and toes.

Great bandaid ... works great for blisters and more. Actually stays on all day. Cushions blister/wound & keeps it clean, dry and heals faster. Good stuff.

So last year I took a trip to Las Vegas with a friend of mine, and on one of the days we were there he had the bright idea to walk from one end of the strip to the other. In mid-day, summer Vegas heat. I'd only packed light shoes because I didn't want hot feet during the trip, and because of that, it took only a couple of blocks before both of my feet formed several massive heat blisters. SO, after a day of agony, we went to a store and I picked up a box of these, having heard about them before, and oh my god you guys.

You guys.

I just-- they're just amazing okay? You put them on and can walk normally like, instantly. I went from being all walking on the sides of my feet as awkwardly as possible to being able to walk like a real person. I mean yeah I'm sure my feet were still a teensy bit tender but the fact that I could walk on them at all was amazing. I was getting some wicked muscle soreness from walking weird, ok?

Anyway so the blisters were gone in maybe two days. It was fabulous and I was Saddest Laurie this past Sunday when I got another big blister from walking in crappy socks and it turned out I was out of them, I thought I still had one left over but evidently did use them all in Vegas. I had a lot of blisters back then, ok? It was terrible. Don't hate.

This applies to blisters on the ball of the foot. The Band-Aid adhesive cushion Pad sticks to the blister. The adhesive outer edge eventually begins to peel away from the skin and folds under. When you take the blister band-aid off it sticks to the blister. It peeled the skin off the blister which exposed the area and made it more painful. I switched to a 2nd. Skin Sport Blister Cushion and it worked better and did not stick to the blistered area. The 2nd. Skin product is much thinner and the outer adhesive seems to adhere better(more flexible). I run so therefore the blister products tend to not last more than a day or two. This Band-Aid product works fine if you are not too active walking or running.

I'm online ordering more of these type of bandages because I recently used a CVS brand copy of these while traveling, and they were GREAT! This is the type of bandage I want on any future burns or rub blisters, so I'm stocking up.

I accidentally 2nd-degree burned my fingers in 4 small spots one night in my brother's kitchen, and was alone in the house and had to drive to get burn supplies since my brother had none readily visible...but there was 1 of these strange looking bandaids left in the box in bro's medicine cabinet...and since these adhere on any part of the bandage (not just the edges around a non-stick pad like most bandaids) I was able to cut it into 4 pieces that just covered the actual developing blisters. They reduced the pain of the burns immensely as I used my burnt paw to drive to the nearest pharmacy (a CVS)to buy more. There is no way I could have used my hand without these, in that first couple hours after the burns--air hurt the blisters, let alone ANYTHING brushing against, like the steering wheel. The cushioning really helped--it felt like many layers of my own extra skin, not a covering.

I bought some silver chloride creme and burn gel pads I wanted to put on overnight before applying new blister bandaids--they hurt coming off, but I could get them off (veeery slowly peeling while soaking under cold water) without breaking the developing blisters.

Next day, exposure to air was still hurting blisters, and burn gel pads were too bulky and drippy to travel with on an airplane, so these Bandaids were perfect. I found that while they seal nicely, though, the edges get dirty; no dirt in the wound, of course, but unsightly on someplace like your hand when at a restaurant or something.

The Band-Aid blister cushions are truly incredible. I get blisters on my heals frequently. Generally from wearing new shoes too long the first time and not liking to wear socks. I keep moleskin in my golf bag for just this reason. I tried these after getting a blister from wearing new golf shoes the first time when walking 18 holes (yes, I should know better) without socks. They were terrific! They protected the blister and it didn't hurt when I wore my runnings shoes or when I wore golf shoes again in a couple of days. They really stayed on, even through a shower. I went out and bought a couple of boxes to keep in my golf bag for future blister occurrences. I wish I had found these years ago!

On two vacations this year involving lots of daily walking, I got blisters, even though I was wearing excellent walking shoes. These gel pads make the pain stop instantly, and they do stay on for a long time, even if you get them wet. I will never take another vacation without having blister pads on hand. I honestly prefer the Compeed brand (which saved my feet on a month-long Italy vacation where we walked 10-20 miles daily), but that brand is not available in the USA (only in Europe). After I ran out of my beloved Compeeds, I tried several US brands, and the Band Aid brand was by far the closest to the Compeed.
