I have a PS2 and purchased this game for the songs. The songs are great but it is very aggravating to play due to the slow loading times between songs and distortion through the Rock Band Microphone when to try to turn up the volume to hear yourself. I am not exaggerating folks...about a full minute of loading between each song, regardless of play mode and you can not turn the volume up past mid range on my Sony TV without distortion in the microphone! The mic also pics up the drums and throws your scoring off on the mic. This happened even after I adjusted the options on the game. I am an avid Rock Band player and the speed of Rock Band smoaks Band Hero. I regret the purchase and wish I would have waited for the PS2 reviews. The only plus to the game is the song selection.

Purchased this for an old PS2 system - under $10 - so it was a good deal. Like other reviewers - it is a bit slow loading between songs but we enjoyed the game.

Great fun, sorry they quit making this. It is sometimes a bit delayed when loading songs, but that delay is short. Any fan of Guitar Hero will enjoy this game too.

Same principle as Guitar Hero but much better music if you aren't into the hard rock music. Our family loves it!!

I purchased this game with GH smash hits. (My copy was bought used and it was scratched and half the songs skipped - Amazon was great to work with, we ended up going to Best Buy and getting a new game)

We definitely play this game much more! The songs are popular so it makes it easy for a novice player (friends/guests) to be able to jump in and play. It's a lot of fun and I wish they'd come out with more top-hits type games.

It arrived fast and in great condition. And the game is pretty fun too :D but for those who have experience with guitar hero or rock band, the game is pretty easy :/

I've played most of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, and one of the things I like the most about this one is the immense variety of songs and genres that are included within it.

I ordered this product for a friend of mine for Christmas, only to find out another friend had already purchased it, so I had to cancel my order. Unfortunately, the order had already entered the shipping process, and could not be canceled. [...] was very helpful in getting me a return label. They made this holiday inconvenience smoother than it could have been. Although my refund took longer than I would have liked, I only have good things to say about this seller.

The game itself,now that my friend has it, is really fun. I like that it has a wide variety of music on it. I also really like that I can just do the vocals without an instrument. Really fun game!
