Product Description There have been a few HG versions of the popular Marasai suit but until now now MG versions. Well, Treasure Island Sports Inc. is glad to report that the latest MG from Bandai was worth the wait. The Marasai sports many of the great engineering that make the Zaku II 2.0 suits so great (check out some below) and has surpassed them in some ways such as the ability to use a Bandai LED To light up the mono-eye. Bandai has also included extra hands and parts. The buiky-looking yet articulate Marasai comes with it's rifle and two beam sabers to go along with that cool mounted shield it has.

The Marasai is one of my favorite Zeta era mobile suits, so I was REALLY looking forward to this kit. The Marasai has great details and looks fantastic when finished, but there's some minor problems which make me think the engineers could have done a bit better. For one thing, unlike most Master Grades, the Marasai doesn't have any sort of articulated hands actually capable of holding weapons. It comes with one set of hands that can be 'posed' as fists or holding either the rifle or beam sabers through use of swappable solid molded fingers, and a set of hands that are a little articulated, but can't actually grip anything. Also the legs seem to have some issues with some of the armor pieces not wanting to attach quite right, and the feet can't bend that much. (Though that last may be part of the suit's design, as I don't recall the Marasai walking too much outside of shuffling around a MS deck. On the ground, they usually jetted around a bit like a Zeon Dom.)

But enough about the flaws, lets look at the good stuff. Aside from the feet stiffness, the suit is still just as posable as you'd expect from a master grade. Only a small amount of weapons, but this is the standard Marasai, with just rifle and two sabers. You want more you'd better shell out double the price for the exclusive Unicorn variant, which I understand comes with some extras (as well as a different color scheme). Also, this kit was seemingly made to be put in all sorts of poses, as not only does it come with an attachment piece for the action base display stands, but it comes with a special part that attaches to the backpack which allows it do mid-air poses on its back!

Let me start by saying this was my first mono eye/grunt type gundam i have done, and i'm very happy with the way it turned out.I wanted to branche out since most of my collection is hero/leads.The build was nice, not to easy but not to hard and overall fun. There's not too much panel lineing to do but the decals are nice and complet the overall look. You get two yellow beam sabers and a beam pistol with removeabl amo clip.He is a bulky guy so the articulaction is what you whould expect soso, not the worst but not the best.the only reall problem i had with this kit was the hand trying to hold the gun.You get two types of hands fixed and separated fingers but both do a bad job of holding the gun,it falls out a lot.The best thing to do is fix him the way you want him then put gun in work with it the best you can and do not move it at all and you should be ok.Overall this is a great kit you should have it in your collection.

I love this model kit!! The look of the mobel suit is great and very samurai-esc. all the pieces fit together nicely and stat together, except the two big pieces for the lower legs. the fit together but the seam line inthe back part of the leg doesnt stay together. but that is a very minor gripe. I love this kit so much i bought a second one and did a custom pait job to it. buy it, it is great
