When I found out that this product still existed, I knew I had to buy it.

Great extra hand and face parts, and one massive charged buster shot accessory (no, really--it's so big it comes with a stand to hold it up!).

All in all, if you're a Mega Man X fan, this is definitely a great figure to get a hold of.

Upon purchasing this figure, I had already bought the previous two releases - Mega Man X DArts 5 Inch Action Figure Mega Man X and Bandai Zero 1st Version "Megaman X", D-Arts, so I knew pretty much what to expect. Visually, this figure is awesome. Using X1's Full Armor design with the more recent X4-forward's proportions, the figure is one of my favorite of X's Armors(Force and Falcon Armor were also great... maybe we'll see D-Arts of those in the future?). The white armor has a nice pearly look, the silver and gold trims are metallic paint, the forehead crest, buster tip, and foot boosters are translucent plastic.

As far as accessories go, X comes with 2 sets of hands - closed and open, three face plates (normal, 'angry,' and 'fighting'), the exchangeable buster and buster tip, and two X-buster shots. The first is identical to regular X's - a three-shot burst which looks really nice as it's all connected and even twistable for a different look. The second is a massive charged shot - easily three times the size of either Regular X or Zero's charged shot accessory. It's bigger than a golf ball. Anyway, this one come with an accessory Regular X desperately needed - a mini display stand to hold up the charged shot! This makes displaying the accessory easy, visually impressive, and gives you no worry about X toppling over under his own accessories weight(this is an issue with the first X figure).

As my title says, this is hands-down the best D-Arts figure for Mega Man we've seen so far, and I highly recommend it if you're looking into this line of collectibles.

This figure brings back so many memories of my childhood days. When I first viewed the figure I knew that I was going to get it. The product arrived on time and is a nice addition to my Megaman collection. The figure is simply fantastic and I love the design. The design is simple and the color scheme is simply perfect. The figure can be positioned and when next to the Zero figure that I also have, the pair together is just perfect. The parts can be easily removed and they can stay in place. I definitely recommend this figure to any Megaman fan, I would also recommend this to non Megaman fans as well, simply because the design is fantastic and cool.

To preface this review, let me say that the D-arts Mega Man figures are the best action figures I have ever owned. They are literally the game characters fully realized in physical form, poseable to any pose imaginable, and extremely detailed and worth every penny. I have a few of them now, and all of them are fantastic. All of them except for this one...

The durability on this figure for some reason does not meet the same standards set by the other figures. I actually had to order 2 of them. On the first one, the hand joint was basically glued into the forearm and it ended up breaking when trying to turn, twist, or remove the hand, rendering that arm useless. On the second one, the arm joint (where the arm meets the shoulder) had the same problem, wouldn't budge, and the first attempt at twisting the arm to pose the figure broke the arm off with the joint still stuck in the arm. Therefore, it took superglue to fix it, and the arm is no longer poseable at that joint.

On this figure, compared to the others, the paint job is not quite as detailed, the helmet does not fit seamlessly together as it does on the other figures, and the seams on the rest of the parts are not sanded down and as invisible as the other figures in the D-arts line. This was true on both figures I recieved.

I would add this to your collection if you are a fan, because it is literally the coolest Mega Man figure to be made thus far, but be warned that it is not to the same quality as the other D-arts figures, such as Vile, Zero, and X sans armor. These other figures (Check my reviews on those) are much more durable and built better than this one. I wish that wasn't true because full armor X is extremely cool!

Thanks for reading!

Very cool to have a figure of full armored X. Despite how much more of an upgrade this armor is there's just so much more to love about the regular figure over this one. Somehow X just looks a lot cooler to me withought the full armor. With this one, you get a charged shot and stand to hold it up which is a great touch though.

When I found out that this product still existed, I knew I had to buy it. Most of the joints can be articulated, but for some reason they seem to pop out from time to time. But who cares, I sure don't! It's one thing to have one of those cheap toys from the 90's that barely even moved, how about a fully articulated and customizable Mega Man X with armor? From the pictures on the back it can also interact with the standard one making it look like X picked up only a few armor upgrades. If you like Mega Man, then It's a sure thing you'd buy it.
