thought the Normal Version of this is too expensive I preferred getting this version so I could keep bit of Comic-Con history.

The pictures don't do it justice! This figure looks great in person, the combination of the paint apps with the transparent plastics used really look amazing. It uses the same mold as the 1994 S.H. Monsterarts figure and is very poseable. Sure, due to its unique color it may not be for everyone but give it a shot and you might be surprised like I was. No regrets!

This was a gift for an avid and extensive collector of Godzilla figures from miniatures to motor driven. I'd say it went over very well for the purpose intended. In my humble opinion though, to a novice bystander, the points of articulation were perhaps too easy to spot for my liking. Maybe there was a reason it hadn't been previously added to his collection. Still an awesome addition in the end. Outstanding colour and very poseable.

Since I am starting to geek out, I ordered the one you could only get at the San Diego Comicon. I just never would have made it down there if I started geeking earlier LOL.... But godzilla has always been my fav since the age of 5 and I am not telling anyone how old I am.......

This is the best series of Godzilla figures I've yet seen, bought, and am now collecting. S.H. MonsterArts with the amazing work of artist Yuji Sakai has produced amazingly detailed and extremely articulated figures that are so beautiful and perfect and high quality they seem more like you are holding Stop motion movie props instead of commercial toys. Toys? Can we even call these ultra-swank items toys? No... lets call them what they are Art. Art that you can pose. Display. Art that features the best pop-culture icons from the Japanese Movie industry since I was a small child, sitting wide eyed, sipping Mountain Dew and eating red veins and popcorn and gawking at the mind blowing cosmic opera of Destroy all Monsters and Monster Zero. BUT... This Red Hot Godzilla is from the incredible benchmark setting giant monster newer film Godzilla Vs Destroyah! Perhaps the best of all Kaiju film. In it, Godzilla's heart - a radioactive power source unlike any thing else in the universe...it's having problems... it's growing hotter... and it's going to OVERLOAD! GODZILLA is going to MELT DOWN! ...and take the entire planet with him! It's a brilliant idea, a perfect arch in the Godzilla mythology. We see the gaint monster grow hotter and HOTTER with more and MORE explosions and firey effects than perhaps in any other Godzilla film. (A REALLY IMPRESSIVE and BEAUTIFUL Japanese poem of DESTRUCTION!) Godzilla grows soooo radioactive-so HOT that his SPINES MELT! DIG THAT! Godzilla's freakin' Spines Melt! His radioactive breath shoots out his ruptured back spines! Radio active fire spills from melt down Godzilla in all directions in amazing beautiful whirling clouds of radio-active death. It's pure ART! This must be seen to be appreciated. This is Kaiju taken up to operatic levels of artistic brilliance. Purchase this figure. It's a beautiful red Godzilla figure. Buy the DVD of Godzilla Vs Destroyah! Your life will be art-enriched.

Fantastic start if you wanna see how the monsterarts figures are! Cheapest of the lot probably due to the coloring but same articulation as the others.
