The Refreshments hailed from Arizona and were a great rock band that somehow hovered below the general acceptance of the radio listening public. The song "Banditos" is better known by the chorus that says one of the best lines in a song ever "The World is full of stupid people". While I prefer the entire album and the rare songs I have found along the way from this great band (including the original version of "Banditos" on their first album "Wheelie"), you are a fool not to spend 99 cents for this great song!Enjoy. Freshies music lives on today via Roger Clyne and his great band. Check it out. Let's hope for a reunion one day.....slim chance but why not hope...... |
