From the back cover:

Kidnapped!

Snatched in her sleep by Pancho Villa's notorious outlaws, Meg Atherton's only thought was to get out of Mexico and back to her daddy's ranch. And sly Meg was sure she would have escaped, if not for Villa's American bandido, Timothy Carson, whose piercing blue eyes and mysterious charm held her captive as surely as any bonds.

Carson didn't enjoy playing bandit, especially when it came ti kidnapping helpless females. Trouble was, Meg wasn't exactly helpless, and the desire he felt for her had no place in an outlaw camp. He was definitely for sending the wily vixen home. But marriage-minded Villa had other ideas...

And my review:

This story started off really well. It had everything a reader could ask for - strong characters clashing, suspense, drama and intrigue, as well as a well-researched historical background.

But then the author seemed to not know what to do with at all once she hit the halfway point. The romance stopped developing, so she chucked the characters into bed. Great...not!

It all started to go downhill from there, and I couldn't even force myself to finish this. I've tried to read other works by this author and have always had the same problem. I've now put her on my "do not buy" list.
