Not Free SF Reader,
By Blue Tyson "- Research Finished" (Legion clubhouse) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bane (Special Sale) (Paperback)
An intriguing horror story, that starts off slowly and builds into creeping then pretty much zombie fighting. Not at all schlocky though, well worth a look for the handling of some mythological elements and the refreshingly non-American setting. One man comes to town to slowly discover something is strange, supernatural and then horrifying.

A Lost Love Found, A Small Town And An Ancient Evil!!!,
This review is from: Bane (Hardcover)
There is something very amiss in the small Scottish town of Arden. The reader is introduced to Nick Ryan, a journalist who makes a journey back to this town where he grew up in. Nick falls in love with an old flame Barbara and yet the two of them are aware of an Ancient Evil Force at work. Aided by his mentally challenged friend, Colin, the three of them go underground in order to stop the Evil Entity. This book is an enralling read and a perfect example of what a Horror novel should be.I was mesmerized by the story itself which is a difficult task for any writer to accomplish.
