Beyond Expectations,
By Don Jon (Augusta, GA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Bang Camaro (Audio CD)
Like many people who have heard of Bang Camaro, I heard them on Guitar Hero and was curious to what else they may have developed.
After previewing their songs on myspace, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for this CD to be released. Their style is simply amazing; a collection of inspired 80's riffs upgraded to a 21st century sound. Bang Camaro seems to focus more on the music rather then simply making singles for the radio, but still comes off with every song deserving radio play. It's a refreshing change from what most other rock bands seem to be trying to do nowadays. The arena lyrics on all of the songs will make you feel like your head banging in the midst of a large concert. Simple and to the point, you'll be following the lyrics by the end of the song. I normally don't rave about new bands often, but not enough can be said about Bang Camaro. If you preview these songs, I'm sure you'll be sold....trust me. I hope they know they have fans in Augusta, GA and one day make their way down here for a concert.

Kicks *SS!,

These guys rock. And their style is closer to the old school rock that people my age all used to know and love. Good to see someone getting back to the basics. Some of their tunes have some riffs that will make you go "Wait a second...I might have heard THAT one before...!" But it's just different enough to be new. Way to go, guys! And please know you have a fan base in the Central (Upstate) NY area.

PUSH PUSH LADY LIGHTNING,
By
This review is from: Bang Camaro (Audio CD)
Well the first time I heard of this band was from Guitar Hero 2. I loved their song push push lady lightning so much I simply had to check out the band. Yes, the sound a little bit like bands like Kiss or bands of that era, but as someone who is always looking for new sounds to fill the void, I think this band does a pretty good job at representing arena rock to the fullest. Rediculous solos, big choruses, clean sound, what more do you want. If this band doesn't get you throwing up devil horns, I don't know what will.

Bang Camaro Rocks!,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bang Camaro (Audio CD)
Probably like everyone else, I first heard Bang Camaro on Guitar Hero. Being intriqued, I previewed the songs before I purchased. These songs are really good! The guitar work is great, which pretty much sold the album for me. If you are having doubts about buying this album, preview the songs first. I'm sure that after the previews, you will buy this one!

Bringing back the rock!!,
This review is from: Bang Camaro (MP3 Download)
Bang Camaro really rips it up on this album. I had listened to them and attended a show prior to finding out they were in Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I was truly surprised to see a modern incarnation of the good old metal bands. Nonetheless, great album, definitely give it a listen and catch a live show. These guys know how to rock!!

Old school rock with a new school sound,
By
This review is from: Bang Camaro (Audio CD)
This album is a tremendous upgrade from most other modern rock. It features 80's style riffing and a choir of singers. The lyrics are cheesy but fun, and there aren't many lyrics so the whole choir of vocalists idea is not overdone. The music focuses on tasty riffs and incorporates many guitar solos and harmonized breaks. The music doesn't sound forced or overproduced, instead you have a overlooked masterpiece. If you like old school rock/heavy metal, I would suggest giving this a listen.

I have not heard the cd but I have seen them live. The musicians are good but their live show consists of 10 other idiots shooting beer out of their mouths like a fountain and then running to the mics to sing along to the chorus. I couldn't believe how stupid it was

I heard this before... Oh yeah in the 90s!,

The first time I heard this I thought I was listening to a Monsters of Rock CD. But no, it was just a new band who came about two decades too late. I'm all about new music, but if I wanted to hear heavy guitar rifts, and screaming vocals I would just listen to the"real" monsters of rocks... the classics.
