About the Author

Upon tiring of American girls soon after the release of his game book Bang, Roosh hit the road and set his antennae on foreign girls, quickly realizing his American game wasn't as effective abroad due to major cultural differences. For each new country he buckled down over the course of many months to study, date, and analyze the women.

The result of that labor is the Bang series of R-rated travel guides, which are meant for guys who need an honest and accurate breakdown on gaming a country's women to maximize both sexual quality and quantity, all without resorting to prostitutes.

There are some good ideas, but nothing that common sense wouldn't do for you.

I completely understand wanting to go to Colombia to meet women, but I don't understand why anyone would need a book to do it.

Having said that, you don't have to be misogynistic to enjoy connecting with local women.

The book looks promising from start as the author talks about the 3 most important cities in Colombia. However, the author was just bragging about how he dumped Colombian girls, how he got them in bed, and he expects you to do the same. There are some good ideas, but nothing that common sense wouldn't do for you. He never goes too specific about plans in each city, and he sounds like he makes us look like douche bags on foreign countries.

For sociopaths and Predators

I won't change my stance on this trash of a book and whack job so called author , this book has no redeeming info ,more like a rape guide is what it is . Its disrespectful to women in general and amazon you claim not to be racist and offensive and yet you allow trash like this to be sold , hypocrisy at its finest . the author is still a loser and so are the followers.

Do not waste your time buying this filth , this book only promotes sexual and predator behavior towards women . the author clearly has issues with women so he has to resort to writing this kind of trash and racist book . Writing a nasty book like this does not make you an expert on latin american women and its people . you go to other countries to write trash about there women on how to degrade them . not only is the books spanish horrible, also stereotypical , bad writing , and racist .

Like other reviewers, I was drawn in by the preview chapters and decided to buy this, since I'm currently living in Colombia. Instead of actually going through anything you could really use, it's just recounts of his own exploits, and not in very fine detail either. A somewhat enjoyable read just for the bits in the beginning but you won't find much of anything of use in this one.

I was put off by the author's attitude toward women, since I can't recall anything from the book that considered any of the women he encountered as being anything but a 'flag,' his term for having sex with a woman in a foreign country. All of the women he encounters are simply notches in his... gun?

Having said that, you don't have to be misogynistic to enjoy connecting with local women. There's a lot of quite useful advice about making a connection with a stranger, especially one who doesn't speak your language. What works for guys who are out simply for a one-nighter works as well for men who are looking to make friends and perhaps something more. I wouldn't not consider this book as a travel guide for the single male in Colombia, and it is primarily directed at the younger set who have a hang up about paying for sex, be it for economic or for ego reasons.

I am a veteran traveler, but still found some of his tips worth writing down.

I'm a big fan of Roosh's advice. He is really very good at conveying his advice in a simple, easy to understand and straightforward manner. I recently read this book and it's vintage Roosh. The subject matter is very specialized but on the other hand who wouldn't like to head down to Colombia for a few months and implement some of the strategies he's writing about here? For most of us in the US who are used to (and possibly sick of?) American women, this guide is incredibly useful for anyone who's heading down to South America with the least bit of this type of ambition.

Also check out Roosh's other books "Bang" and "A Dead Bat in Paraguay," and check out his blog for some solid game-spitting tips as well as some entertaining rants about his current frustration with American society and American women.

When we hear the country Peru mentioned, our mind wanders to a scene of an Andean alpaca grazing along the side of an Incan stone wall; Ecuador and we imagine a rain forest panorama with frogs jumping off a branch while butterflies mate in the background. But, when we hear Colombia our mind automatically brings forth pictures of burning buses on their side being pillaged by men in ski masks.

Being of sound mind and body, (reasonably speaking), the decision is obvious which country a logical minded man like the author would choose to go looking for a beautiful soul-mate in his attempts to gain his independence and live out his dreams; Right? WRONG! Read the book and find out the secrets, the mysteries, the holy of the Holy Grails behind exploring the hot Latin world of Colombia. Yup, COLOMBIA!

The 3-Hour Work Week: The Gringo Guide to Online Dating, Learning Spanish, Limiting Your Enemies, Avoiding Deportation and Making Money in Colombia; (The TGGTOD), is designed to inspire people to maximize their life experience and escape an ordinary life. Inspired by the ideologies of the self-proclaimed “Internet Romeo/All-Star Budget Traveler/Worst English Teacher in Colombia,” it has been described as the holy grail for Facebook addicts who want to explore the world and network with hot Latin singles.

This is the ultimate guidebook on how to relocate to Colombia and become an English teacher/freelance writer/actor. This book illustrates the many advantages (low taxes, no need for tipping in restaurants, affordable plastic surgery and other medical procedures) that gringo visitors can expect to find in Colombia.

It is funny, fact filled and always informative, The TGGTOD, provides the necessary knowledge you need to make the most out of your Colombian experience.
