They look great, are very comfortable and sound amazing.

The H6 is a very flat, neutral headphone; there are no noticeable frequency spikes and the mid and treble is evenly reproduced along the frequency spectrum.

It is also quite light, so it is very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

EDIT: UPDATED TO INCLUDE BOWERS AND WILKINS P7 COMPARISONS (finally got my hands on a pair)

After being impressed with the B&O H3 (review here: http://amzn.to/1cfbsOR), I decided to bite the bullet and pick up the H6 as well. I've had a chance to listen to them for about 4 months and recently purchased a Fiio E07K DAC to complement. This will be a lengthy review, but it should hopefully be worth the read.

To preface, I am a musician (play piano, clarinet, saxophone and guitar) and have been blessed with the gift of perfect pitch, so I take my audio equipment purchases very, VERY seriously. I have previously owned B&O A8/Earphones, Bowers and Wilkins C5s and Beyerdynamic DT990s. I currently have a set of A8s as well as the aforementioned H3, and was looking for an over-ear headphone to complement the set. I considered the H6, Sennheiser Momentum, Bowers and Wilkins P5 and P7 and VModa M100. I'll break down the review into a few categories for simplicity.

---COMFORT AND FIT---

Unparalleled. Truly that is the only word to describe the fit of these headphones. I wear glasses often, and typically this is an issue with the fit of over-ear headphones. The clamping force is very, very light, but is more than sufficient to keep them in place. The H6 is easy to wear for several hours, and it is also very light in weight. The Momentum has a greater clamping force that is noticeable, but still comfortable. I found myself unable to comfortably wear either the B&W P5 or the VModa M100 for more than 2 hours at a time with glasses due to the clamping force. The P7 has even more clamping force than the P5 due to its over-ear design, and I constantly have to adjust them to find a good fit, which is quite an annoyance.

1: Love the sound ...5 stars.
2: The accessories are awful. Its airline jack adaptor does not work ..flied with 3 different airplanes ..none of them works. I am so upset.
3: the case -bad. It costs 400USA, it should have a better protected case than a cloth bag. However, the string for tied up is broken when I used it first time. The bose headphone has a very good case.
4: After I bought this and I found that the remote control only works for Apple . It should have a choice for other OS such as Android or PC.

I have been looking for a high quality, excellent sounding pair of headphones to use at home with my iPhone, iPod, and Macbook Air. I have used Bose QuietComfort 15s, primarily for their noise cancellation function, when traveling. While they excel in noise cancellation, they are not known for their sound reproduction, so I wanted something better for home. Initially, I tried Bowers & Wilkins P5s, but found them uncomfortable (they are designed for on-the-ear). Also, I found their sound reproduction somewhat dependent on their location on the ears.

Next, I tried the B&O BeoPlay H6s. There are many positives about these headphones. First, the design is "typical B&O," that is, minimalist, high quality, and visually appealing. They are also very lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods. I am not an audio expert and certainly didn't do any quantitative measurements, but I can attest to the H6s being very neutral in sound. In fact, I can't recall ever experiencing headphones more neutral. It is worth noting that we live in a world that often associates thumping bass with high quality sound reproduction. If that's your preference, these are NOT the headphones for you. Don't get me wrong, the H6s reproduce very low frequency bass notes (like in Genesis's Firth of Fifth or in Don't Let it Bring You Down by Annie Lennox) with amazing clarity. I just wouldn't recommend these for Hip Hop or to people who set the bass on their amplifiers at "+5".

My only objection to the H6s is their volume level is not quite as loud as I normally would expect. I found myself setting my iPod/Mac at near full volume. This is, no doubt, due to the impedance rating of the headphones. For this reason, I opted to go with the newly-released Bowers & Wilkins P7s.

I have looked and researched. And because I live in NYC I have been able to go into stores and listen to the many: Grados (too big). B&W P5s: very nice looking but center alignment of the speaker to your ear is critical and too difficult. V- Modas (squeeze my ears and after 30 minutes I'm in pain), Sennheiser "momentum" (over ears; not so robust). I need headphones that are portable. They dont need to collapse- though that would be nice- I just cant have huge cans while on the subway or in transit. I look ridiculous (sorry Beyerdynamic) with big headphones on my head. I didnt try the Sonys because I have had bad experiences with wear/tear of their products and customer service that is so poor I cannot even consider them in my world.

The problem I found with several on ear small cans is that they dont block out noise enough for my liking. I have Etymotic in-ear headphones (ERP-4s) and they are great for that isolation but the bass reproduction is wanting. I have also grown disgusted with the MP3s (192mbps) coming out of my iphone. Im buying the Fiio X3 8GB Music Player. I bought these H6s to be their companion. They fit nicely on my head. They are comfortable. The sound out of them is BALANCED. Many of the cans I tried had bass reproduction that was ridiculously over the top. I want the music to sound like it was meant to be heard. These sounded wonderful. I listen to rock/jazz/pop. I dont listen to rap or angry heavy metal. I have 3000 CDs that I use as my source and am converting to ALAC files (that file type designation took a ton of research as well!)

I know B&O as being a very high end brand. I'm not a snob by any means but quite frankly the reputation of the company doesnt hurt in the least here. I know they will stand by their product.
