4.0 out of 5 stars A bit pricey, eh?
I own the Form 2 headphones. I refuse to spend 9.99 [not including shipping] for a pair of replacement pads. A economical pair can be obtained at your local Radio Shack for just 3.99. They aren't square, or rather rectangular; they're round 1.75" diameter [4.5 cm]. The B&O set are: 1'" diameter [3.5 cm]. I know, I know. The round pads are a touch larger but they do...

3.0 out of 5 stars Still Overpriced
I have had my Form 2 headphones since the late 1980's. I now also have my Father's. I had a horrible mess to clean the degraded B&O foam off my Father headphones after sitting unused for a few years. A brand new pair of Form 2's is $100. Just the replacement B&O pads are $11. That is 11% of the total purchase price!. Back in 1997 I paid $16 for a pair of foam pads from...

A brand new pair of Form 2's is $100. Just the replacement B&O pads are $11. That is 11% of the total purchase price!. Back in 1997 I paid $16 for a pair of foam pads from the B&O store in Chicago. A truly insane price. Last fall I discovered the "Koss PORTABLE Replacement Cushions" sold on Amazon, Koss PORTABLE Replacement Cushions These fit very well on the Form 2's. The Radio Shack foam covers mentioned in another review are now only sold in a package of assorted sized foam pads. Why would anybody need an assortment? These work perfectly with the only compromise being the square Form 2 speaker is now rounded. I shall suffer this indignity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love as a modification to Form 1 headphones, November 7, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Bang & Olufsen Replacement Earpads for Form 2 Headphones (Electronics)
Yes! I use these pads to not only replace old pads but to modify my Form 1 headphones. I do not own any Form 2 headphones because they do not sound good. However, the Form 1 headphones with the Form 2 pads sound sensational. I put silicon rubber along the edges of the open side of each pad and then attach it to the face of each driver enclosure. The resulting improvement in driver output coupling to the ear really enhances the bass and makes for the ultimate in headphone sound. I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 600 headphones which I love for listening to audio clips and videos on the internet but they cannot replace the modified Form 1's. The HD 600's are more like listening to 2 speakers and don't provide a great headphone experience. I mention this because some listeners don't like sound seemingly originating from the middle of their head. If this is the case for you then the HD 600's would be more to your liking.

There are some complaints expressed here about the shipping charge. When I last ordered them they were shipped express from the Czech Republic. So that should explain that.
