Cher's 1988 single "Bang Bang" which is a self-cover of her 1966 sing "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" finds the timeless diva updating the song from it folk rock roots to a more alternative metal rock song and also shortens the title aswell. Her self-cover of this song goes great and made me fell in leave with a song I otherwise had passed by in the past. And to me "Bang Bang" was her best solo single that she recorded after her late 70s disco hit "Take Me Home" and her second best of the 80s with that honor of course going to "If I Could Turn Back Time".
