Hi Lita19The song Morning Dew (walk me out in the morning dew) was originally sung by the Grateful Dead. It is on their 1967 album called "Grateful Dead". Robert Plant also sang it. The one is the movie is the Grateful Dead version, which is still the best.

Five Stars for the boys from Nashville...,

I have been in the music industry for many many years as an A&R rep for a major label. I heard the band Slack at the Exit Inn in Nashville and they simply put my head on the floor. They are an incredible group and their contribution is the highlight of the soundtrack. I tried to get something going at the label I work for (which shall remain nameless) but the atrophied ear of the corporate machine wouldn't have it. I have signed several platinum bands and Slack is gonna be the next one for somebody, but unfortunatly not me. Good luck to you guys, people, do yourselves a big favor and buy this disc just for their track!

Hey, Lita19...I know exactly which song you're talking about! I heard it for the first time during this movie and fell in love! I just had to track it down. It's called Morning Dew by Robert Plant. Unfortunately it's not on the soundtrack, but hopefully this info will help you find it elsewhere.
