My son is a top ranked middle school basketball player, who broke his nose during a game. The Dr. Said three weeks before resuming basketball. I started inquiring about a protective mask, to prevent a rebreak. A custom mask was not covered by my insurance and cost 700- 1500 dollars! My Internet search led me to, the Bangerz Hs 1500. It looked like the best product. When I received it, it was smaller and much lighter than I thought. Which was a good thing! My son tried it on and couldn't believe how light the mask was and how his vision was not obstructed! My son and I are very happy with the quality of this product. We feel like we got a 1,500 dollar mask for 28 dollars! I highly recommend this product. Hoopsdad, NY.

This product protects the nose very well, but the reason I gave it 3 stars is because it's difficult to see the soccer ball at your feet. It might work well for other sports, but not for soccer.

My 17 yo daughter broke her nose playing soccer and needed to wear a mask for 6 weeks. She's a goalie and she found that the mask blocked her vision. We had to remove a lot of the black padding under her eyes so she could see the ground. She also complained that wearing the mask made her head hurt.

This guard saved my nose from abuse the first time I wore it, but it also impeded my ability to dribble and shoot a basketball in game situations. I would like to be able to form the lower part of the guard to fit my face better.

If you need a noseguard for basketball, you have two choices. This mask for $30 or one of the ones like they wear in the NBA for several hundred. I've tried both. The expensive one cracked when I got an elbow in the face. So I tried this mask. In order for them to construct this as a one size fits all, it is built up with padding where it hits your cheeks. This makes the central part over the bridge of your nose protrude, and the vision is really horrible. It is a joke. You could get injured worse trying to play a sport where you can't see. But if you take a high speed drill, you can carve it to your liking in order to improve the vision. It is made of polycarbonate,which is pretty indestructible, so you can carve that bridge part pretty narrow in order to open up the field of vision. Now this may compromise protection of the eye area, if this an issue. But if you need this simply to protect your nose, this is a good workaround as to the vision issue. I would give it only 1 star because they could easily construct this with better vision without you having to take a drill to it. But with no other reasonably priced product of its kind is available, I'll give it 3.

Needed guard to protect nose after nasal fracture surgery. This one was very tight fitting and uncomfortable visibility impaired too. Ended up buying banger face guard that is a cage for softball . The one that covers down to the nose. Not the full one.
Works great highly recommend.

Bought this for my son to protect his broken nose during his 6 - 8 weeks of healing. It fits great and he has been able to continue soccer with this. It does not have any sharp protruding edges. The referrees have not seen it as dangerous to the other players and have allowed him to wear it in games.

This product does not protect a broken or bruised nose. As a matter of fact there is more chance of further damage if the guard is warm and is not a perfect fit (which for most people, will not be).

I can't give review on this item since I only purchased this item for my nephew in the Philippines. He broke his nose so he needs this while playing a game. I think this is a good item since he requested it. Thanks
