5.0 out of 5 stars Touching and helpful January 14, 2010

I bought this book because I know Keith's wife. The day I got it, a good friend of mine was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Having now read the book, I will definitely pass it on to her. While her cancer is different from Keith's, I think the book will let her know that she is not alone in her thoughts, feelings and battle. The book outlines what to expect on many levels from emotions, treatments, side-effects and how important support and friendships can be. Verbalizing his fears and triumphs will help others.

This book was very honest and touching. I feel I will be better able to reach out to my friend having read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars An uplifting story of a traumatic journey through cancer. November 22, 2009
Format:Paperback
This is an uplifting read. Should I ever need support if facing such an illness I'd turn to this book for inspiration and strength. It's full of humour and tells of the amazing highs and lows of Keith's life at this vulnerable time, all told with great honesty.
As a professional photographer he includes images which alternately make you smile and appreciate the treatments he endured full on. The photographs make the text spring into life without any self pity or gratuitous detail.
The fundraising Iceland trek photos finished the book on a positive note.
Thank you Keith!
