Captures the Rawness,

Sped up, distorted, lo-fi interpretations of the 50's Rock N' Roll Formula with crappy children's keyboard to boot. Coachwhips capture the necessary rawness and reckless abandon while it's quite likely that they inadvertantly reinvent the wheel. So many bands seem to deviate too much and come off ineffectual. Not on this record. Both the Ramones and Ray Charles would probably be dancing in their graves if they heard this.

It's different...that's for sure,
By Matt Williams (Upper Sandusky, Ohio) - See all my reviews

OK, these guys sound pretty cool...but they will only appeal to certain people. I'd have to say they are like a harder The Network maybe, with a little bit of Swing. They have the same synthesizer stuff going on as Horse the Band or An Albatross..the singing is good but you can't understand it due to the voice changer the singer uses. Overall, a pretty good cd..Also have a slight bit of Jet in them which is kinda cool..pick this up if you are pretty open-minded and like The Network.
