Rob finds Drama staring at the wall in his closet-sized office, and decides it's time to help his young cousin get motivated with some good old fashioned hypnotherapy. Based on Rob's own success with hypnotherapy, he is convinced that a visit to the same doctor will help his listless assistant ... achieve his ultimate dream of becoming a successful music producer. Rob agrees to build Drama a music studio in the Factory, as long as Drama agrees to do a rap duet with Chanel, the Fantasy Factory's very own gangster-rapping receptionist. Mixed into all of the fun is Rob's newest toy: a tennis ball gun capable of shooting balls at speeds of up to 200 miles per hour.

In the Fantasy Factory series opener, Rob gets right to work filling his new, Willie Wonka-esque warehouse with fun things. He sets his sight on "blobbing," a method of launching people into the air with a giant, inflatable tube, and decides to put one in the Factory. In Rob's quest to mogul up, he also invites NBA basketball star Lamar Odom down for a game of one on one, and tries to convince Lamar to become a fellow investor in a restaurant that Rob has a piece of, called "East."

On the day of the record-breaking attempt, severe winds threaten both the safety of Rob and Danny, and the success of their perilous stunt.

Rob is offered the opportunity to redevelop and add the Dyrdek name to his very own Las Vegas Motel. Excited by the prospect of becoming a "Motelier," Rob drags Drama and Corpo to Vegas with him, to take a look at his new, potential business venture. While they are in Las Vegas, the four of them ride down more than a mile and a half of high-speed ziplines, to see if it's something Rob might want to add to the Fantasy Factory. The foursome also visit Big Bear Lake, where they blob into frigid, ice cold water. After the zipline installation at the Fantasy Factory is complete, the employees of Dyrdek Enterprises give it a test run.

In return, Rob is asked to create some viral videos to advertise the restaurant brand. This inspires Rob to create internet-buzz by building the biggest skateboard in the world. The Mayor of Los Angeles accompanies Rob on a world record ride at the skate spot opening.
