5.0 out of 5 stars Great Strategy Guide For A Grandma!
This book covers all the important things you'll need to know to complete the game. Honestly, I don't know how anyone would do it without this guide! It shows the locations of all the things you'll collect and offers suggestions as to how to accomplish some of the more difficult tasks. Although the maps are confusing, the game would be much harder without them...

2.0 out of 5 stars AVG.
This book was somewhat helpful in getting through B-K in a reasonable amount of time, but it was definitely not as helpful or detailed as Prima's guide for Zelda. I used free B-K info I found on the web more than the book for tips on finding items.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Strategy Guide For A Grandma!, March 28, 2000

It shows the locations of all the things you'll collect and offers suggestions as to how to accomplish some of the more difficult tasks. Although the maps are confusing, the game would be much harder without them. After you understand the layout of the worlds everything makes more sense, and without the maps its practically impossible to do that.

1.0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY IT!, November 9, 1999

You will get a much better deal buying nintendo's guide. Not alot of good information, undetailed maps, and horrible walk-throughs.Don't buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Brilliant and Helpful, August 3, 1998
This review is from: Banjo - Kazooie (Prima's Official Strategy Guide) (Paperback)
This book is great for begginers who need a little help in getting around, to experts who just need to find those few extra notes or Jiggys. It's jam-packed full of helpful hints, detailed maps of all nine levels plus Grunty's Lair and Furnace Fun, beautiful color pictures, each and every procedure in completing the levels and beating the witch, and much much MUCH more! This is an absolutely great strategy guide to Banjo-Kazooie, so if you are planning on purchasing a Banjo-Kazooie players guide, get this one. It's the best around. This book is so great that if I could, I would give it 20 stars, and I recommend it to anyone who has purchased Banjo-Kazooie, even if you do not need help in the game. This is a must buy (if you have the game).

4.0 out of 5 stars To play you don't need it, but it's a nice luxury, July 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Banjo - Kazooie (Prima's Official Strategy Guide) (Paperback)
my brothers and i bought the game, banjo-kazooie. We worked through the game without having to refer to the book but once or twice.(it was a lot of hard work) so if you want to play B-K the easy way, buy the book! It makes everything a whole lot easier and has very nice illustrations and instructions and It tells every thing except the secrets at the very end. But I recently found out those secrets are in the sequel being made, Banjo-Tooie. So don't buy it if that's what you're trying to find out.
