This is a story about growing older and the sad reality that for all your hard work during your lifetime--you end up with nothing. They find a way to get back at the system and are hilarious in doing so. Good book for everyone of all ages to read.

A thoroughly enjoyable read -- clever and entertaining. As humorously drawn as the characters are, they're also absolutely recognizable as real people, motivated by all-too-real issues (i.e. an appallingly convoluted health care system). While there's certainly valid social commentary between the lines, it's never preachy, but is delivered in a way that makes us laugh and root for the good guys (who sort of happen to be the bad guys) on every page. It's the kind of story that would appeal to all different kinds of readers, and I can't think of anyone I know that I wouldn't recommend it to, confident that they would enjoy it as much as I did!

When the system screws you........Screw the system. Funny, upbeat, relevant story of a "woman of a certain age", who is pushed to point of going after what the system tries to take away from her.......and wins! Pure mad-cap merriment!!

Great characters and well-written comedy with a message! The funny plot is grounded by the reality of life for the elderly.
