No single living artist has created as many myths, rumours and legends as Banksy. In his home town of Bristol, almost everyone seems to have a Banksy story. Many of the tales in this book are from Bristol, some are from further afield. What they share is that they are all told with the wide eyed wonder which Banksy inspires. Compiled between 2009 and 2011, some of these stories are quite old and have been told so many times they have become the stuff of legend, while others are more questionable and can best be described as myths. Some are laugh out loud bollocks and others are simply gossip. You be the judge.

I have three of Banksy's own published books that are in the same format and style.
I bought this thinking it would be the same without realising it was another authors knock off of Banksy's own manifestos.
I found the book boring, regurgitated and mostly made up and just cashing in on the hype.
Banksy's own books (banging my head agains a brick wall, Existencilism) I bought for 4 pounds each...now are collectors items. This I paid too much and found it week and unoriginal.

Sure of of these anecdotes may be more legend than fact... But the mythology that's grown around Bristolian Banksy is undeniably addictive. Recently, we got confirmation of one of these myths: He DID go with a football team to play in Mexico. Photos were released recently of his wall-work on that trip. So that's a bit of validation of this collection. And anything in here that turns out NOT to be true... is fun nonetheless! I'm quite pleased with it.

This books is one of the tiniest and useless I have seen in my life. the pictures are nothing, and the text itself is mediocre. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this book. Banksy deserves a better book!!!

Love this book so much - wanted to buy this for ages - just bought shepard ferry supply and demand and this was missing in my collection - great to see art evolve.
