I finally splurged and bought this for myself after a year of having it on my Wish List. It is absolutely beautiful! My bracelet did not have any of the problems with broken strings as noted in some of the other reviews. I was a bit nervous about the size of the jewelry as I am very slender and have small wrists. The bracelet fits loosely and slides a bit, but is like any other piece of "chunky" jewelry I've owned. I am very pleased and plan to buy several of these for my book-junkie friends.

While the impression you may get is that this is a small bracelet, similar to Italian charms, it is not. The charms are 1", so if you are looking for something relatively small, it is not. I love the message though and bought one for my niece too.
