About the Author
Roger Bansemer is an artist who has a deep appreciation of nature. He is recognized for his skillful and beautiful work, which ranges widely in subject matter from wildfires, landscapes, seascapes, and nautical themes to hot-air balloons, lighthouses, and people. He has lived in Clearwater, Florida, since 1957 and recognized his love for painting and sign lettering at an early age. He attended Ringling School of Art and following his graduation in 1969, enlisted in the Navy. He worked diligently in the years that followed and built a unique home and studio filled with hundreds of paintings and prints. Bansemers family includes his wife, Sarah, and two daughters, Lauren and Rachael.
