Customer Reviews

I do not recommend this pool.

Unfortunately, no matter what we did, we couldn't get the canopy to stay on top (the "tree trunks" simply couldn't hold the weight).

It's a cute concept but I can't get the canopy to stay on the pool.

As everyone has pointed out, the design of this toy is way beyond marginal - it plain doesn't work as advertised. In fact, the picture on the front shows a water shower that is physically impossible with this pool - even if it worked as designed.

Now, I was in fact able to over-pressurize both the "trunks" AND the top rim of the pool (you HAVE to do this to for it to work) to a point beyond reasonable pressure (I nearly burst a blood vessel in my eye getting the thing up to this pressure... perhaps a good foot pump would achieve the same effect). With this, I did in fact get it to sort of stay up albeit unstable... which produced a rain trickle in the middle of the pool (nothing like the picture).

Now, all this being said, once I was able to MacGuyver everything to work, my daughter (3.5 yrs old) spent 2 hours frolicking about in it this after noon and this evening. She absolutely loves it, so it's worth the horrible pain to make it work. I just wish it wasn't such a poorly designed thing, it really is a great concept.

I got this last week and my kids LOVE it. It's bigger than a baby pool, yet not too big to dump and refil often.

The canopy is great for blocking out the sun, that's why I bought it, and when the sun moves, you can teather it to the side and it works that way as well.

Unfortunately, I could not get the canopy to stay on when trying to attach the hose (tried pumping more air, tried releasing air), I even tried just dumping a tiny little bucket of water in the top and it still fell over!

I don't agree with many of the reviews on this pool. I bought it and think it's great...especially, considering the low cost. I paid $20 for it and it works just as advertised....also what do you expect for a $20 pool? I thought it was a great value for a roomy pool with a canopy AND a rain shower feature! The arms that hold up the canopy must be blown up fully to hold the canopy up. Be sure to buy a cheap pump (mine cost $5) to do this. Blowing it up with your mouth will not do the trick. Regarging the rainfall feature, I will admit it was a bit tricky at first, but the key is to just turn the water hose on just a little bit. My daughter just had a pool party with a couple of friends and the other mother's liked the pool so much that they bought one for their house.

Takes FOREVER to fill up 6 separate compartments with air, then, like others have said, the arms tilt over & collapse when the hose with water is attached to the canopy. The side arms just don't hold up the watered canopy well. So I skip the "rain" effect, which my daughter doesn't miss too much. She really enjoys splashing around in it, and the canopy IS a decent shield from the sun, but if you're buying it for the 'rain', you'll be disappointed.

Dear daughter got this for her birthday from relatives. It's a cute concept but I can't get the canopy to stay on the pool. The "trunks" don't hold the canopy up, it keeps falling no matter which way I try to put it on. I even kept putting more air into the trunks hoping that it would hold and no deal...nada, nothing. I only rated this with 3 stars because it's a cute concept for a pool...should have actually been lower than that because of the problems with it.

my mother brought this for $15 and i would say it is worth about that i for sure wouldnt pay the $50. the canopy doesnt work it lasted for an hour then went down and wont go up again. really shoty construction. so if u are buying this because of the canopy DONT but if you want a nice size little pool i would still say dont buy this bc my twins who are 2 are comfortable in it but anymore would be very over crowded. save ur $50 and spend it on something that actually works as advertised

I was able to inflate and deflate this pool with my little $20 electric pump each time in about 3 minutes. The colors are great but the 3 sides do not hold up. They flopped over to one side. I had some large yard windspinners I bought from the dollar store over the summer and I staked one spinner in the ground next to each of the 3 tree stalks and wound a thicker string around tying a stake to each tree part. It worked fine and help up the tree part fine and the pool supported the weight of the water and hose without any problems. The pool stayed up for 3 days in the yard until we took it down to cut the lawn. You can use inexpensive large wooden dowels as long as they are tall enough to add support to the pool. The spinners added to the festive look of fun in the sun. The water doesn't come out like the picture but the babies liked the low steady stream that wasn't too much for them. The pool protected them from the sun and they could see all around them and the sides didn't collapse when they leaned on the sides because they were supported by the wooden dowels. With a little inexpensive engineering we fixed the flaw and the kids had a great time in an inexpensive pool, we paid $19 for ours.

I bought this same exact pool from Wal-Mart (the same exact pool!!) for $[...]. Yes, it lops over. Terrible to clean! This person is desperately trying to rip people off for $[...]. I mean come on! Does a lifetime warranty come with it? A 10 year replacement? I mean cause you are going to need to replace it every year as the canopy offers comfty shade for your baby but doesn't mention that there is practically no heat tolerance for the plastic. It comes just shy of melting here in the south. I recommend this pool for $10 and not a penny more. Keep it in a semi-shady spot, for really hot summers, keep it in full shade. Oh yeah, get a pump or an air compressor or get a really good respiratory therapist. By the way, my son loved it. It was a good way for him to learn about boyancy and gravity. I got the waterfall to work until the material got warm and the palm trees wilted. Watch your kids closely and don't let them use those flimsy palm trees for balance.

Absolutely do not buy this pool for the $[...] requested above. You can get something soooo much better, like a fancier baby pool or a sprinkler.
